Stray dogs may bite if you touch them when they are in pain/injured. Sometimes have to consider, if you see someone run over a stray animal and you take it to vet, who will care for the animal after that? You cant just release it on the road again, it might need medical care for a while. Hard choice to make, good thing I have not come accross this situation before, but if I'm the one that did it, I'll try my best to save the animal
Yes, injured animals tend to attack or bite you back if you go close to them. Try to get their trust first (though thats the hardest thing to do), check for its injury and see whats the best way to help it. By rushing what to do, you will add more pain to them as you dont know what damage they have.QUOTE(imedia @ Feb 17 2006, 02:44 PM)
I once saw a cat got hit by a vehicle. It was still alive and kinda crawling in its grotesque state, with blood all over. I being the kind hearted soul, ended it's life by rolling over it, since i was driving behind the said vehicle; squishing the life out of it. I was damn proud that i was able to help ease the pain of the cat by ending it's miserable life .
The only drawback was that the ungrateful cat decided to leave a patch of hair on my tires which were a pain to wash off.
You dont need to point out that in here The only drawback was that the ungrateful cat decided to leave a patch of hair on my tires which were a pain to wash off.
