4-1 for balls out power at high end XD

4-1 pickup kaw2 but top speed will reduce a bit.

4-2-1 pickup & have top speed.

hope this is the place to ask.. i'm looking for my first performance mod on my 4g13 satria (manual, injection).. guessing i should start with exhaust and intake.. should i go for open pod or drop in?

and how much is the powerzone 4-2-1 extractor for 4g13/5?

intake should go for drop-in...

if wanna improve low end, dun make ur extractor shorter lo... ppl cut shorter the 4-2-1 is to make high end smoother (more towards 4-1 characteristics)... when there is much more free flow in da exhaust, ur low end will be less good as no backpressure to build low end torque...

its lagging not due to the exhaust system...
its the DRIVE BY WIRED system...

yeap... but if he couple it with shorter 4-2-1 extractor, low end will be even more sluggish...

luckily i haven't cut yet, the jian hang keep blame my extractor is too long...

he want u to have smoother revs at high rpm.... so during the dyno u can achieve higher horsepower at max rpm...

Dear dudes... i've been readin thru dis thred and found many interesting things for that i wan 2 thank da contributors. It seems der r quite a few ppl wt experience in exhaust mods here, so i would like to ask for opinion.

I use stock standard wira aeroback 1.6ME(Auto), its usin MMC ecu, i plan to revamp da exhaust sys to get sum preformance gains troughout da powerband. From wat I understand da best set-up is 4-2-1 wt s-flow muffler which is more suited for auto gearbox. Pls correct me if im wrong.

My question is, where do u suggest i go to get a tuned exhaust sys for my wira aeroback(preferbally shop well versed wt protons), i don mind paying for a good job. Pls do also mention why ur suggesting da place and what is da price range like?

Dun get what u mean by long.. If you wan try chop i swap with u extractor and u can chop..

or do you mean extra long, according "jian hang" someone did add 6 inches longer...
