just out of curiosity. is it possible to change from stock single muffler to dual muffler and at what cost? i.e. effect on performance etc.

Dual exhaust not reallyet advisable unless ur car is a sports car.. if u still like the dual exhaust.. perhaps u can make one side as dummyou and the other side is the real exhaust.. all depends on what car and ur engine brother

ford focus mk3, still stock engine. i saw some aftermarket catback like J2 engineering with quad exhaust but apparently it's not available here. wanna do custom but afraid it will affect performance. i want to order the zetec s bodykit and it will look awkward with a single exit yet i really don't want to resort to ricing by putting dummy exhaust though.

not like you have 2 banks of cylinders... and heck most
if u dont want a fake piece, and really want to add an additional pipe, might as well cut your losses and split the pipe as far back as possible....

u will gain nothing in performance on a dyno (dont performance will go down if its split very far back) BUT you will be adding dead weight on the car so yeah~~

also imo... that kit does not need twin pipes to look decent

Perhaps what you may do is to find any groups which only consist of ford focus owners.. perhaps some of them have done the set up or maybe they have alternative ways to do the mod tho..

ahh 63t.. alright, good to go, please carry on this way rclxms.gif

*edit*
the weight might be an issue.... remember this thing has more mass and momentum, duno if the hangers(mounts) are actually strong enough to hold it up long term.... im also assuming your car has rock hard suspension.....
the strength might also be a problem if its mounted very low..... hit a rock and something has to give, if its not the pipe, the mounts might go, or the flexi pipe (or other parts, worst case headers) might suffer the brunt force

Hi Guys,

Need some advice on 4G93 full piping.
Checked online extractor range from 450-600.
Going for 4-2-1 stainless steel, any advice which type to get so many on market like on mudah.?
Any recommendation of exhaust shop around Klang Valley, also what would the budget be like.
Need something to punch the power out for 1.8 engine which is not too noisy type smile.gif.

Thx in advance
