Just wondering what exhaust, muffler is recommended for this car to give it extra boost in pickup, yet remain silent.

Will be good if it is not too bulky as well.

if changing muffler only, you won't get much boost in pickup, you will however get a lot of boost in noise. so best to keep stock smile.gif

What sort of efficiency are you looking for? More power but balances that your current mileage is still maintained? Better engine efficiency so that the style you are driving now makes your car go further? Better efficiency so that because your car is lighter it doesn't need to carry so much weight so it can save on fuel?

Hi guys, if only changing the s-flow muffler or straight flow muffler does not have any effect on performance? I am totally a beginner of this. So don't really understand. I would like to have some pick up performance to my car.

I would like to have pick up for my myvi auto 1.3
Therefore, I bought one 2nd hand open pod from my friend.
After that I did some research on open pod. What I've found is that people tend to say that open pod in auto cars is just making the car worst. Is it true?
What is the best filter for auto car?
I wanna play na.

I also saw ppl saying that
Open pod is for manual trans
Drop in and carbon charger for auto
Is that true?

not true... the choice of filter depends on which RPM u want the power at. drop in for lower rpm and open pod for high rpm. im using open pod for my auto trans myself.

CVT / AT it just transmission gear part It doesn't relate regard Air intake/exhaust.
Remove catalytic converter ,replace 4-2-1 type extractor ,Straight-pass Exhaust muffler
Change Open-pod type air filter
Advantage of exhaust system > Friendly environment ,muffle

Modify Intake/exhaust will significant increase fuel consumption us well as engine torque ,because more air flow pass thru air flow sensor. The Control Module calibrate on air/fuel mixture to produce efficiency combustion .

BACK PRESSURE NO GOOD ,NO POWER only EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and Turbocharger need some back pressure biggrin.gif
shocking.gif F1 doesn't have exhaust system WTF

Depends on what type of straight flow you will be using
If its the N1 bullet type, it will be noisy regardless

Sifus, if change mid box to bullet will adding more sound? Currently driving satria 1.3, just changed the s flow muffle but the sound is too quite, only high rev only can hear the brassy sound. Plan to change 421 with centre bullet.
