I think all perspective being taken into consideration, it boils down to car owner what sort of mod they have in mind - no necessary everyone will go for hp/torque...some may want only top-end gain...etc etc...some tuners wanted to improve performance but prefer N/A...as such tuning house such as HKS..Amuse...sometimes offer basic performance tune - which cover only -intake, exhaust, bodykit for downforce..and maybe add in carbon fiber bonnet for weight reduction - the figures quoted can range from 10 - 15% increase in HP - but whether its wheel-horse-power or otherwise is not release...so most assume if theres gain its good enough..but sometimes low-end torque increase - top-end suffer...its catch 22 - you gain some but also lose some...

Hi..
I'm driving a Latio 1.6.
Changed whole exhaust system from extractor til tip.
4-1 extractor, 2 bullet i guess, 1 s-flow muffler.
Previously on stock exhaust can hit 180kmh.
Now only around 150kmh. Something went wrong?
If change muffler to straight flow, will I get back high-end topspeed?

restrictions in the system. s flow may not be the only contributor as you have 2 bullet, even the extractor could be a factor if it isn't done well.

point being with modern cars, if you go for cheapo exhaust shop mods, you'll be regretting hard.

why need 2 bullet? summore using s-flow...of course more restrictive...

1 bullet/center box already enough...

You're on AT, why the 4-1 extractor?
What is the size of your piping? 1 hi flow bullet is enough

1 hi flow bullet enough? Won't be that noisy right..?

either the Extractor or the muffler box?
has went to a few exhaust shop some said that changed Extractor 1st some said changed the muffler 1st.
so just need some advise and suggestion.

between any good exhaust shop in Cheras?
found a few shop selling the 3 - 1 extractor for 150-200 come along with the flexible hose.
does this extractor reliable?

everything in my Kelisa is from factory. Haven mod anything yet.

Guys, seek for your opinion.

I have Alza Auto Premium. Which extractor should I use? 4-2-1 or 4-1. I try to ask Pro Ride at Kuching and he said i should use Hotbits 4-1, for alza auto with DVVT engine.

I would want to have better throttle actually.

iinm between 1.3-1.5", stay between 1.4-1.7" and you'll be fine.

in fact, if you want to go with PZ, you can ask their advise also or just do end to end exhaust with them tongue.gif

Hi guys,

Im new to all this.

Just bought a 2010 Honda City, E-spec ( Modulo kit ).

Just wondering what exhaust, muffler is recommended for this car to give it extra boost in pickup, yet remain silent.

Will be good if it is not too bulky as well.

Thanks alot guys.
