QUOTE(blueskylim @ Nov 23 2011, 08:04 AM) Lighted crankpulley how much market price ? I tot lighted crankpulley just help to improve pick up ? But drop in will affect fc decrease or not ? My car adi have vs , but without groundin is it cant perform well ? Yup, for lighten crank pulley, will feel engine lighter and more responsive. Drop in air filter works the same as normal air filter, only when you need more air, it can give you the response normal air filter cannot. Once you feel the response your foot will become heavy and then your FC will drop..... |

QUOTE(xxboxx @ Nov 25 2011, 11:04 AM) nope, i am using twin tip muffler, like tictac also. Got chance you should listen to mine...... maybe the sound not that loud just for me it's loud. Added on November 25, 2011, 5:38 pm QUOTE(antarkuzs @ Nov 25 2011, 11:47 AM) Hi! I need some opinion abt my xtrail 2.5 exhaust pipe. I want to change it to a larger diameter (2.3 or 2.2). The current setup ia 2.0. My car hv 421 header with 2 mid box n catback exhaust. Should there be any power loss if i enlarge the piping diameter? Or should i stick to the current setup? Tq. Engine have not mod, should stick to OE size. Too big, torque may drop.....This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Nov 25 2011, 05:38 PM |

QUOTE(tictac @ Nov 25 2011, 09:37 PM) Yes.. the car sound like a stock car... BUT... The only car I saw without any box was the one use on the track for race. The power gain is a lot compare to my previous setup. Last time i use bullet at mid pipe.. then i switch to direct pipe... (no midbox/bullet) after that only i use this 2 midbox at midpipe. Out of all my previous setup.. only this setup give me the highest top speed... From extractor to bellow to the middle of the car only, that's it, real loud.....not road legal...... |

Best check with the shop. If they are experienced enough they can tune according to what you want, whether better low end to better high end.
I am not sure which shop the group of Honda owners went but according to two of them their ride now better power at low end, giving quite good fc too. One Odyssey, one FD2 and one CP2. They did different setup as all different ride and each car needed to go back for tuning a few times..... This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Nov 27 2011, 03:39 PM |

QUOTE(icyd @ Nov 27 2011, 04:18 PM) all of the shops i visited seems to pull facts from their asses. i know more through forums like this. i've wasted a lot on exhaust experimentation for my first car so i want to do it right the first time for my second car That is because some have gone through it and with experience is still the best, rather then let the shop trial and error. If they are good then okay, but some are plug and play shops only and will tell you it is like this one...... |
