unetp works best for me in my area, connection is stable with QoS 16000/8640 (either on E367 or E372). Speed is average around 2Mbps (E367) and 4Mbps (E372)

Anyway, i don't download a lot but i do need the public IPs for hosting my IPCam and RDP/VNC to my PC when I travel.

2mbps out of 16000, means able to use around 13%, really too congested. luckily u got dc-hspa modem to compensate a bit.

my area 4mbps out of 8640, 50%. with dc-hspa+ modem dual channel, 8mbps.

Yes, the signal strength at my place is also very weak - 1 bar out of 5 bars. With antenna, i can get 2 out of 5 most of the time, sometimes 3 out of 5 if i'm lucky. So, I'm glad with what I'm getting now looking at my scenario. I definitely envy all of you that can easily get more than 10Mbps. drool.gif

i need to place my modem at certain area in my room to get >10mbps... nevertheless , as long as ur area is a normal area (not much ppl using 3g) , u should be able to get min. 5-10mbps....

but surf net using this 3g can be quite slow sometime , eventhru i can get >10mbps speed and low ping on speedtest...

If your web pages are loading slow or incomplete, most of the time its MTU problem, I have tested, MTU set wrongly, facebook loads halfway and the it keeps loading forever. But when I set the MTU correctly, it loads instantly. Same as MSN and YM if wrong MTU connection drops in and out.

Also if you got plenty of ram (8gb for me) you can set Firefox to cache to memory, way faster than caching to harddisk
