13 - 15 mbps is about the same speed i'm getting on zte mf680 which is a 42 mbps modem.

although sometime it do burst up to 28/38 mbps in my case..

usually download using IDM getting 1.5 mb/sec and sometime becomes 2.7 mb/sec..

I personally tested both Huawei E372 and the Maxis Re-branding E372.

In my observation, Maxis Re-branding E372 wins hands on.

Better Signal level in dbm when looking at MDMA.

More stable speed, in my case getting 2.2 mb/s idm speed and above and stable.

On Huawei E372, I'm getting speed 1.4 - 1.7 mb/s idm.

So I believe Maxis has tempered with the original firmware of the modem.

This is my hypothesis only. Correct my if I'm wrong.. tongue.gif

I would recommend Maxis Huawei E372 Modem.

Because I have personal experience with both Original E372 and Maxis Re-branded E372.

Maxis E372 perform much better. whistling.gif

by the way, Maxis still upgrading their network?

So hard to get 20 mbps nowadays.. getting around 10 to 16 mbps only..

DC doesn't mean it confirm 42Mbps,

DC = dual carrier / dual channel

so dont be shock when you found some tower is 16000/8640 able to run DC too,

recently i try Panel Antenna from Blacktubi, my signal is RSSI: -51dBm ( FULL ) @ all time without any changes even @ recently these few bad weather

My sierra manage to get - 47 dBm in Cyberjaya on DC HSPA+.

But the speed maintain around 6 mbps. Sometimes will burst to 14 mbps.
