So it seems you can only receive the reward once a week.

But, we still need to do it to accumulate Guild Merits, which can be used to unlock other Guild missions (the next one is Guild Trek which require 30 Merits)

o i found something.

Sorry for the confusion guys. Here’s the way it works:
When your guild activates a bounty mission, it will be displayed in the new missions tab with a list of targets to kill in a 15 minute window (2 – 7 depending on tier).
The targets are NPCs who already spawned on the maps. There is a clue as to what map they’ll be on for each target. They can be ANYWHERE on the map. Some of them are easier to find than others.
Only guilds with the mission active can start a fight with a bounty. Everyone else will see them as a non-combatant.
When the bounty is killed, it is respawned somewhere else for immediate re-use.
If you participated in the event to take the bounty down, you will immediately receive your personal reward for guild bounties for that week and your guild will receive completion credit for that target.
Once your guild completes all the targets (within the time limit) merits will be awarded to the guild.
Merits are used to unlock new upgrades and other types of missions, so it pays to successfully complete your bounty hunts.

kite, i queued tier 3 instead.
kill 6 npcs.

should be no problem rite since we group up with AFS.

we got 2 minutes to kill the first 5 npc bounties and 3 mins for the last one.

hope we got enough dps?

Hey everyone, as most of the members in CCTV already know (from the guild MotD), we'll be having our first Guild Bounty run tomorrow (2 March) at 9pm-ish, latest 10pm.

Tier 1 Bounty hunt: Kill 2 NPCs

For early preparations read through Dulfy's guide here: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/27/gw2-guild-bounty-guide/

Bring your characters with the most map completion because we will need to hunt around for ALL the NPCs before we activate them.

List of maps to complete and the Bounty NPCs:
Snowden Drifts (15-25) - Deputy Brooke
Brisban Wildlands (15-25) - Diplomat Tarban
Kessex Hills (15-25) - Poobadoo
Diessa Plateau (15-25) - Short-Fuse Felix
Gendarran Fields (25-35) - Sotzz the Scallywag
Lornar's Pass (25-40) - Bookworm Bwikki
Fields of Ruin (30-40) - Trillia Midwell
Harathi Hinterlands (35-45) - Brekkabek
Blazeridge Steppes (40-50) - Curious Cow, Tricksy Trekksa, Weird Wind Rider
Iron Marches (50-60) - Prisoner 1411
Sparkfly Fens (55-65) - Crusader Michiele
Fireheart Rise (60-70) - Shaman Arderus
Mount Maelstrom (60-70) - Half Baked Kamali
Frostgorge Sound (70-80) - Devious Teesa
Southsun Cove (80) - Ander “Wildman” Westward

If your level is low you may concentrate on the lower level maps. Happy playing and see you on Saturday night!

We should try out Guild bounty Tier 2 and 3 at least once each. Since the max Merit cap is 25, if we did Tier 2 we would have 20 Merits this week.

Think it's kinda waste if we only try to get 15 Merits this week, should strive for at least 20 per week, or ask other guild to help us get 25 so we can unlock the other stuff faster.

The rewards are per tier or per attempt? If it's per attempt, we've used up this week's attempt already.

pretty sure it's per tier for Merits and per attempt for Commendations.

As in

Guild does Tier 1 and Tier 2 (that would be us)

End result, everyone has only 2 commendations but Guild has 20 Merits.

haih yalor.

i think besides mumble voice briefing, some text briefing via guild chat is required also.

for tier 2 and tier 3, i think we divide up the forces then hentam together should be better.

Actually, since we can only have one personal reward per day and I doubt we'd be as big as AFS with the number of online people, activating a few is not end of game. Like last night, those who killed the one in Lornar's pass would not have missed anything in Fireheart as they won't get anymore rewards. We could have activated Fireheart at the same time and after finishing lornar, they can come over to help us finish off Fireheart.

These guys are champions and even if we activate all 6 in tier 3, I doubt with our numbers we can even take it out (2 to 3 people per map). So I think activating is actually ok as long as you guys keep it occupied until reinforcements arrive. We just have to coordinate which one to attack in proper order so that we can pool our numbers together after killing each bounty and I'm sure everybody would get their rewards.

I'm just thinking that as we go up in tier, it might be more important to activate all and start finishing them off 1 by 1. Yesterday we only had 2 and we were down to last 5 mins. Imagine if we had 6 and same number of people online. We have to start hitting them as soon as the timer begins. Just my 2 cents as we go forward.

for tier 3 with 6 targets, must start attacking all 6 at once liao one. else not enough time.

some bosses may be harder though and some bosses after too much scaling may become too hard also.

The bosses scale, thats why bringing a group of 10 to do it is much simpler than a group of 30.

So if we do T3, 3x groups of 10 simultaneously hit 3 bosses at once, then regroup.

The guild trek locations are being posted and updated on Dulfy's website.

Yup, agree with sleep with triggering the targets at the same time, just need around 10+ person per group, which group that already done with their target can help others also if they need it..this way we can save much more time...
