I think the maximum speed I drove on the highway was around 75km/h when the roads were free of congestion. I tried to be as light-footed as possible in order to utilise the power from the battery when the traffic was on a standstill or slow-moving. smile.gif

Oh yeah, ECO Mode was on.

Added on November 26, 2012, 10:41 pmI think one of the reasons is due to the air-conditioning settings I used. It was set to auto at 26.5 Celcius. It was raining that day.

yape, aircon consume alot of battery power. another important criteria is the road condition, if u drive on mrr2 from gombak to cheras jalan kuari, u can get 30km/l. up hill u press the pedal harder, but when reach top hill, u release the pedal and start light foot. u will notice the car only use the EV.

try to use the 5 min record screen, always drive with 20 to 32km/l as a target, it will influence you how to get lower fc.

Ran over a ditch tonight at Mex highway during heavy rain, following a iswara in front and tire burst! Luckily air bags didn't jump out. Have to stop by a rest station to change tire under the rain. Luckily keanutan and others told me that the jack is under passenger seat. Thanks guys!!  thumbup.gif

So far no damage on car body. But worry got damage on bottom of the car or suspension, other than bring back SC, how to check?

Hopefully I am not the first one who change a PC tire in Malaysia. If I am the first one, the spare tire is damn heavy!!

Now I pity the Jazz Hybrid driver, I would have waited for tow truck if I am driving Jazz Hybrid.
Just to share with fellow PC-ians, beware at Cyberjaya:
Just got chance to pass by the ditch I ran over again early this month at Cyberjaya. Obviously a lot of cars kena (see the rim scratches at the right edge).

As the result, the new tyre gone with all threads broken inside. My tyre man said luckily it is Bridgestone due to extra layer of threads, the tyre will burst immediately if poor one. At least the tyre last me to the nearest rest station. However, it cost me RM245. (Toyota SC quote me RM270++ and they don't even have ready stock).

Also the front right tyre camber angle gone, and Toyota SC refuse to fix for me. On inspection report, it was writing "Request to install camber crew (outside the workshop) for further camber adjustment". If I don't want to install camber screw, then have to change the suspension set (knucker, lower arm, absorber etc) part by part till the camber angle fixed.

I did 80km/h with cruise control, managed to get 23km/l only today with some jam. How do you make it?

I realize at night, there is no way I can reach above 24km/l with headlights on. No matter how slow or how long I pick up in EV. Is my problem or my battery problem?
*
I noticed that when using cruise control, the FC rate will only gradually increase over a long distance, above 70km. For anything below, e.g 30 to 40km, the rate is normally poor. Not too sure why.

No warranty applicable as this is driver caused incident, not their built quality or design fault.

Resolution is change the tyre, install camber nut, get the angle fixed. Good thing is Toyota SC willing to help me check/fix camber angle during next service since camber nut is there.

Dont let them know i think its good d ^^ and remove it when you service your car hehe. So mod its wisely with part which easily can be taken off before service.

Anyone done their own service on their PC. I know beck_ken stated he will do his own maintenance. How was it ?

do you two still have the letter? if yes, please scan and email to customersupport@toyota.com.my stating you did not receive your evoucher. Try this if your SA don want to give you the RM380 voucher..
*
Thanks louis. I have the evoucher stated in my Order form (Retail Customer Order). I will follow-up with him again. because when he hand over the car he told me no evoucher. But since some other owner received the voucher via snail mail, I'll wait for another 1-2weeks.
