i heard my fren said virgin paint is the best, is it worth to repaint? it will cost rm250 btw
*
It will be too much for RM250 just to touch up. Last time my car been scratch from the side, front to back. To repaint 4 piece (2 door & front & back part) only cost me RM600 = RM150 per piece.

Just a small touch up should not cost more then RM150.

Seen it not really visible, just buy any pearl white DIY touch up paint will do. Save money for other stuff.

Did any one copy a DiVX file into pen drive/USB and play through his/her Toyota DVD-AVN? Or the player only can play DVD disc?

DiVX file only can be played on the DVD/CD, not USB. I converted some bluray concert to xvid format, no problem to play it on the DVD-AVN.

Just want to ask you Prius C owners, what happens if the car battery under the rear seat spoil? Must replace the battery?

Shouldnt spoilt.. but what is ur defination spoilt? Battery can't charge anymore or leaking ?

If spoilt also its battery ko. meaning time to change battery. But as far as i know the only prius change battery is a taxi which clock more than 400,000km. So should be reliable enough for you to change to next car first.

Time to go for first service. Any sc open on sat ? And good sc recommend ?

Added on September 21, 2012, 5:39 amHi all.

This is first time i'm playing with GPS device and learning how to do so in my PC. As normally i use google map more.

Anyone use Malsing map here and any comment on how to use it and etc ?

Im using Malsing + MSM map together ... ^^ .

Thinking of compiling best map and upload to internet so everyone just copy and paste to their SD card and on the go only ^^

The efficiency also positively impacts your wallet. In those six weeks, I travelled a total of 1,785 km and consumed 361.4 kilowatts (kWh) of electricity. Using the highest TNB tariff bracket for domestic homes, which is 45.4 sen per kWh, I spent RM164.08.

thats about 20.7km/L given 1.90 per litre for petrol equivalent. i thought ev was much better? of course i believe the 361kwh uses much less fossil fuel than what our cars are drinking now.

Re-hi everyone, back from a brief hiatus. I'm glad to see we've reached v2 now, it's not however a surprise since this car is great smile.gif
Did the map update cos I wanted the freebie injector cleaner lol, gonna revert to malsing/malfree again. Another thing I should mention is that I asked whether they will wipe the card/erase trip log & favourites and I was told yes - however upon getting the card back it was all back in there. And no, the updated map isn't as updated as malsing/malfree, if I remember correctly it's like msm 2011.40 heh. No harm though, you should just back up your current one (or just reinstall the maps after they 'update') and just get your freebie tongue.gif
Haven't had time reading the last half of v1, but I did skim over v2 and I read about the water in the spare tire issue, I'll have to check mine for that. Also about the reverse cam, yeah it can be awkward at first but you get used to it, I usually just keep going when it beeps until just before the flatline beep sound [and of course being careful]. I'm much more worried about others hitting my car than the other way around. I have some odd new scratches on my car, I have no idea how they got there seeing as I haven't been using my car as much and it's always been in my view or at home [was using a diff car cos I baby this car]. The only thing I can surmise is a cat or someone who came to my house inadvertantly doing it but doubtful of that. I did drive it in the mud and rain though [and I doubt it can do that too but who knows]. I only noticed the morning after when I went to wash it. It's like random lightly scratched vertical lines above my front left tire. To be honest it doesn't look like a person could have done it, but anyway it's nothing meguiars scratchx/swirlx couldn't hide thankfully. What scratched it will remain a mystery of course.
On my way back home from service centre [car actually didn't need a service since it didn't reach mileage but I went anyway because of their sms and I wasn't sure what their policy regarding 'whichever comes first' when it came to date/mileage - the SA told me to just do it on mileage and it's fine and he rescheduled me] I was listening to the radio and they were promoting the prius c hehe. As I've noticed from the threads more & more people are getting it, but also in general, looks like popularity is increasing smile.gif

Not impressive at all, considering that the cost of the car is expected to be much higher than that of a hybrid

i checked up some internet info that says 1kwh uses 0.0016 barrels (42 gallon/barrel) of residual fuel oil. so the leaf uses 361kwh ~ 92 litres to travel the 1785 km. sounds wrong to me, maybe i am looking at a wrong source.

This website, http://www.unitjuggler.com/convert-energy-...boe-to-kWh.html, says 1kwh = 0.0006142. So 361kwh ~ 35l to travel the 1785km or ~ 51km/l. thumbup.gif
