planning to buy Altec Lansing VS4121 but the model no longer available..
so i need advice about choosing a new speaker for Gaming..
the speaker must be almost the same as Altec LansingVS4121 i really like the sound it produce..

Guys, can recommend me portable speaker? The cheaper the better. Prefer < RM 200 but I doubt portable speaker will be good. Thinking of connect to FiiO X3 or Note 2. Max budget is RM 300. I don't expect a good bass from portable speaker TBH.

currently i'm looking for a 2.1 speaker which have tight, deep, punchy and quality boomy bass.. don't want overpowered boomy bass.. current budget is around 500-600.. thanks!

For now, more towards R1900 Tiii. Cheaper than Swan but better sounding, as claim by listener.  Or perhaps get R2700, 4cm smaller than R2800. Complicated and too many to process. Or wait for R1600T iii, which I hope better than R1900T iii.

So which 5" 2.0 speakers is recommended? Oh too bad man, can't go below 100hz. BTW, I only can get this video regarding R1600Tiii.

Sifu please advice me out. I currently own m3300sf and i feel want to upgrade my speaker (budget 400 to 500). I currently using laptop realtek onboard sound card. It is better to upgrade external sound card and stick to m3300sf or buy c3? My primary usage is on music and movie and Prefer treble over bass. C3 or s33d better?

normally i use my pc for movie the most and gaming .

i went to viewnet today saw a speaker which is salpido amx5 the sound is very nice but the price is Rm700 and rm700 could buy a 5.1 home theatre  set d ..

Got maranta sr4500 pair with wharfedale diamond 8 (5.1)
Planning to change the speaker set to something smaller especially the surround as wharfedale 8.1 bookshelf is damn huge to be hang on the ceilings (no walls) on my new house.

Prefer smaller 1 that can hang on the ceiling. Any recommendation or shall I get a smaller speaker system?

I just bought the M3300SF and realized the bass is kinda weak. But most importantly, the vocals are too strong, covering up the instrumental alot, which wasn't really suitable for me
Just wondering is there any other speaker that has a balance in all those 3? Was thinking of trying the S330 since many people recommend it. Any users can give advice on whether it will suit me?
If I can set to lower the vocals in the M3300SF that would be good, no need so much trouble

So the bass for the M3400 and P3080M is stronger than the M3300SF? For some reasons when I listen to the C3 i felt that its worse than the HCS2330, maybe that unit is faulty?
And yes, i made sure all speakers are off and the surrounding is silent before testing

Also just wondering the HK soundstix is it good? And does it really worth the RM800 price?

Ohh, so I should use my PC instead? Oh I see, I shall make those changes then. But I'm curios why some speakers dont have the woofer? Like the evo 7. It only has the tuned port (sorry I keep using evo 7 as example because thats the other speaker i have at home )

Also for those speaker with down firing woofer, do u mean their woofer at the bottom? Then wouldn't it be too close to the floor? I once own a Ego 3 and i think its those with down firing woofer

I'm looking for a 5.1 speaker system for my mini home theatre setup, after much research, it came down to the following 2 model:

Initially I was pretty much convinced to get the Logitech Z5500, but unfortunately it's discontinued. So I'm kinda hanging around between Edifier S550 and Logitech Z906.

FYI, I'm a bass head and will mainly use it to watch movie, second listen to music. So may I know which speaker would you recommend? And why?

I have a friend who suggested that always choose wood as speaker material, is it true? Will the plastic material for Z906 effect the sound quality? How about short term and long term?

I'm going to port directly from TV, I don't think there's any sound card in the TV.
So in this case, I guess my best option between the 2 is Z906?
