evo is better than tatoo quality

is speaker size on your concern? usually bose c5 is aim by user who does not have enough space to put speakers, plus money not issue.
u can have a lot of choices because the relation of "bigger size is better" is somewhat true...

lets say a pair of 5" bookshelf & int amplifier, like xls encore (from a forummer here named fx20) will cost you at the range of c5

i see... c5 or a5 both are OK-type speaker, my choice is a5 because "bigger = better" haha

a 5" like a5 can handle mid & midbass. it will be less unbalance tone and loss of detail being filtered out in crossover circuit. this is very obvious in near field listening.

c5 little satelite cannot, the space saving design rely the powerful subwoofer to help producing mid-bass. u will get the unbalance overtone and that's about it.

i never heard of "using bamboo" as a case material by traditional speaker maker

old altec i miss them a lot

topping is power amplifier only. u need at least an onboard sound card to give sound.
micro hifi set can be connected to pc using aux input or other connections

big speaker like r27/28 require its own space to perform. i doubt if any shopping centre has proper audition area... there are more like "test-ok" area

sound stick 3 is ok for nearfield usage.
da5000 i dunno. since it is recommended by lex, can be good.
aura is totally out becos u got 2 ears

z623 has crossover "hole" when u put the subwoofer in wrong location /phase, energy are wasted to another space. thats why u get the oohm beats without muddy bass.

u can walk around the listening area, sure got a spot suddenly all the bassy note kick back

r27/28 dont have separate sub unit, all sound get in ur face

well, u have to start from buying something to learn more.
demo unit may not represent the same effect at home

Aune is too small for full range reproduction. Plus i believe the tuning is not towards flat eq

interface is not amp. Amp use watt rating. Rokit got built in amp

cheap monitor speaker that i know is from m-audio and wharfedale pro

recording /playback interface is control the audio path & convert analog --digital signal.
amp is provide electric power to speaker, make it push away from magnet.

no good because cheap = small monitor. mid & higher note are flat tuned, but still cannot reproduce low frequency range instrument.

buy USB type A to B cable (same as printer cable)
u need custom made audio cable.

pre-sonus, use 2pcs of mono phono jack plug into MAIN OUT L--R
edifier, use 2pcs of RCA plug into PC input


single a.k.a. 1 way speaker.
only 1 piece of speaker cone to cover low--mid--high frequency & instrument & vocal & backing chorus etc..
very good at low volume, u hear full range sound like headphone
very bad at high volume, the cone become distort & bunyi pecah like old laptop speaker.

2 way, got a cone and a tweeter.
audio is separated by crossover, so that bass to vocal mid is the main cone coverage, around 2000hz & above is tweeter's job.

3way, got sub, got main cone, got tweeter.
crossover separate low--mid--high.
sub handle from lowest note to 150hz (pc standard)
main cone play everything after sub.
tweeter play higher Hz after main cone.

yup, RCA to mono phono.

usb is same as printer cable can easily buy from pc shop.


r1600 is 2 way, u can see the obvious 2 separate piece.
ini 3 way, u can see the obvious 3 piece of small--medium--big size speaker. port is not counted.

generally, high watt got more force to push magnet =louder.

Buy r1900. Dont worry about subwoofer.
u can enchance the bass by place it close to a wall. Make the reflex port work.

will win s330 and hsc 2330

can work, but not as effective as brick wall

edifier can support basic 44.1khz and 48khz from optical port.
no support dolby and dts surround

ps4 got these few options. like you mentioned, stereo PCM sure support.

of course! r2600 has 2 unit of 6.5" main woofer, less a crossover. the moving volume is definitely higher than 2330 only has 1 unit

yea, definitely go for studio 8 if free space is not a problem

i think aego m 2.1 can tapau all others in space tight competition

nope, you need to find subwoofer with high level cross over.

from a thousand (most basic type) to 5-6k and beyond...

seriously, consider the acoustic energy aego m i've mentioned.
well priced, solid quality, small in size, wide sound stage, got subwoofer.
