Of the few places I know, the only one left is Comics Mart in Mid Valley. Are there any other shops that have a variety of MTG stuff for sale, as well as sleeves, binders and other stuff? Comics Mart a bit low on choices.

For sleeves, binder and stuff, I'll try ask any card shop even Japanese card game ones. Chances are their supplier has standard size (mtg) products and they can order in for you.

You can try Safehouse (ex Spartan Games Arena) in Wangsa Maju, they have those. Littleakiba has lots of Japanese sleeves last time I was there.

Okay, this is my personal experience this week, although a lot of the must-go shops were closed on Mondays. The only 2 places that have a lot of sleeves is at Comics Corner near Atria (they have a branch at SS15, not much there) and also ACE Cards (one floor higher than Comics Mart at MidValley). I bought all my sleeves at these two areas.

I think only Vintage players would want your cards. And nobody buys basic lands. Sorry my friend, I think the demand isn't there and I think RM100 is still pretty expensive. I got 250 lands for just RM30.

The problem with all these card games is the new generation is getting stronger and stronger. I am hoping to look for a collector.

Unfortunately, collectors won't be paying that much money for such a collection. Unless you are telling me those are foils. That's my 2 cents. If I'm a collector.

did a simple izzet control, type 2 from the cards i have (yar, mostly from the box i hugged and cuddled for few nights, then the protective plastic wrapper broke...)

deck is somewhat simple... magma pray, a no-brainer must have, sweltering sun would deal will bears and tokens, sensor for early low cost counters then later cycling, 8 card draws, gearhulk for counters and harassment and drakes that just grow when u dump spells into graveyard

as for side board, flings is somewhat situational and depended on draw (u know, ppl stand up yelling 'madness? THS IS SPART-' and i'll just fling targetted creature to their face before the can fatal push it...), cryptic serpent is cheap during mid game when much spells are in grave yard, by force just get rid of some stuffs (like the marvelous stuff that made people yell 'alamak', or giddy-the-poster-boy's heart-shaped mosquito). glorybringer is included becuz it's GLORY BRINGER!!!

in b4 'amg y no innistrad/ zendikar block' (well, rotating out soon, amonkhet exp is roughly 1.5 months apart, plus this is how i roll cool2.gif ), 'amg no aether hub', 'amg no dual lands', 'amg 2 gearhulks' (the price for those cards... *puking blood*)

Yokuzuna in Berjaya Times Square (7th Floor, same row as XL-Shop and Gamers Arena, at the Corner heading into the Theme Park area) sells MTG cards (and I assume their main shop in Publika does as well). They have booster packs for most of the latest series, Zendikar, Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon and others, all the way to Amonkhet. They don't seem to have other things like Duel Decks, Intro Packs etc, though - just Booster Packs and Booster Boxes, with the odd set of sleeves and, of course, loose cards. The people there also play the game, and are more than willing to give advice on playing the game.

Thanks! That's so much nearer my place, and will look for it.

I found another store, Brainstorm Games, at the junction where Jalan Kuchai Lama meets Jalan Klang Lama. They have Duel Decks, intro packs (for Eldritch Moon), Planeswalker Decks for Gideon and Liliana, as well as sleeves and boosters as usual. They also have those free Welcome Decks, so if anyone wants to grab a few to introduce new players they can do so (although I personally find the welcome decks lack a certain charm and feel to them).

How did the event at Sunway Pyramid go? I didn't have time to visit and watch.

3rd session (evening) was overcrowded and no spots left for on site registration. All in all everyone attending left feeling well worth their time there.

How does the tournament work? Each person gets three booster packs and has to play with what they have? What if you don't get any land cards?

Many cards get reprint to hell, collector's now interested in gold, foil from the past but only from certain set. Some old lands that is different from the new one also got collection ...... its best if you search all your cards and pick out those with some value and bundle them up to sell with a discount either on the sale hobby store here in /k garage sale ........ or try to find buyer from game shop that held mini tourney everyday (usually night time).

This kind of gameplay format is called Limited. Your deck is the cards you cracked open open to a minimum of 30 cards (for this event).

There is a table with basic lands (land stations) where you can add in as many basic lands you want into your deck.

MTG Collector for vintage old cards, if you or you know anyone who has quit magic and is interested in getting rid of their collection, I'm willing to take them from you for a very good price. Do let me know in the PM, thanks.
