oh well... since all the mtg thread has been closed. so... i guess i should start a new one.
are there still any mtg players loafing around here?

im not a shop or seller, im just a normal mtg player who doesnt know much about mtg (just kidding...) and doesnt have a lot of cards.

i've quitted mtg for sometime (give away almost all my rare and uncommon cards) and decided to get back into mtg recently. also, i would like to meet other mtg players out there.

if you're staying in seri petaling or kl area, we can arrange for a mtg battle session or card trading session (if you're interested with my... err... very very very old and outdated common cards). haha...

do send me a pm smile.gif

[for those who are new and interested]

yes there are...but the cards are mostly from the old sets like m12 is going to be phase out after the release of Return To Ravnica
for single cards, it depends on the shop...
try to create the event, and see how many participants
i might be going........

it's not old, it's just going to be phase out.....
after Return To Ravnica come out, only left with Innistrad, Dark Ascension, Avacyn Restored, m13 and Return To Ravnica.....
the rest are banned unless it is reprinted on the new sets

In Melaka, Epic Toyz in BB Bazaar is the place to get your MTG needs. I drop by there for FNM sessions.

Yup, the blocks you mentioned are legal in Standard format once Return to Ravnica is released.
Depends what format you are playing, I heard some shops in KL started Modern where more blocks are legal.

Among friends we don't care about the formats, we just play with whatever cards, but for FNM at the shop here it's Standard format.

Read this to understand the different formats:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic:_The_Gathering_formats

You can check the Wizards of the Coast website too.

As if you dont have to pay for physical cards. tongue.gif

On a serious note, playing online is much cheaper compare to playing in real life.

You can get commons for free if you know where to look. A booster will cost around USD3.99 so after conversion around rm12?

U can still play MTG for free if u want. If u dont want to waste money or want to test play some cards before u buy it. u can go to this website and download the application. its somewhat like a MTGO except u dont nid to pay.
