It's too early to comment that the project has delayed when the S&P for early purchaser was signed less than a year. The developer still have 3 more years to build the towers. Don't forget this condo is >30 storeys & it would take more time to do ground works/structural compared to others.

All Commercial Buildings after 1 April 2015 are subject 6% GST. Are we impacted since our serviced apartments are built on Commercial land title?

There will be a lot of confusion comes 1st April 2015 even to the IRC and Customs departments..........

Malaysia has a very complicated GST system, all tailored around to achieve personal gain for some ppl.

Early purchaser were signed S&P more than a year for sure.
Recently went to site and the progress seem pretty good.
much better if compared to Q1/Q2.

Serviced apartment or SoHos (residential properties on commercial lands) should be exempted from GST.

Correct me if I am wrong.

All commercial properties shall be subjected to GST, Residential properties are exempted. Developers can name it SOHO, SOFO, SOVO, Apartment, Residence, etc, as long as the land title is commercial, GST will be imposed.

Ah ha it seem you city look more organize coz the entire project develop by themself only whereby Maxim, centre point & Cheras Sentral are 3 difference developer projects so hopefully they can integrate well & develop a proper road system to serve the entire area. Don't forget there will be mrt1 & 2 station there & as well as the coming soon suke highway to be built with all this connectivity will definitely boost the area well. Wondering in the next 3-4 years when the entire transportation system is ready to run whether it can be greater than u city & ekocheras coz both are just 1 station away from here. hmm.gif

I made a called a couple week ago, developer yet to release additional electrical to MR purchaser. yawn.gif
But just done it for Maxim Citilights sentul.
