Big plus of having our players on international duties is that it makes it a lot more bearable to watch and more interesting to us. We had 4 for England, and it was a joy to watch although it was only against San Marino. But the performances of Cleverley and Rooney really give me a lot of hope that when they come back, they will perform just as well if not better. Carrick was steady and hopefully Welbeck's confidence in front of goal will be lifted a bit. Hope they play together again next game(and come back just fine!) for England although Roy Hodgson will surely play the usual suspects.

Haha although i have to say at times i still have a few miliseconds of shock when i feel like im 'missing' the match while im out at night only to remember that there isnt any...
About cleverly,I read an article recently commenting on him being offered a new contract too early. Kinda agree, complacency is a dangerous enemy especially for young players like him. Yes he has performed well but like the article said, not long enough for him to be awarded the contract. |

QUOTE Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has been charged with drink-driving after a car collided with a van in Greater Manchester. Mr Tunnicliffe, 19, of Heywood, near Rochdale, was arrested after the crash on Saturday afternoon. Police said a Range Rover collided with a van in Green Lane, Heywood. The van then collided with the wall of a house. Mr Tunnicliffe was charged with driving with excess alcohol, Greater Manchester Police said. He is due to appear at Bury Magistrates Court on 25 October. Officers said the front seat passenger of the Range Rover suffered a minor whiplash injury in the collision and both vehicles were badly damaged. The midfielder made his Manchester United debut against Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup last month. He was on loan to Peterborough United last season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-19942654 |

Hideto Takahashi wants interested Manchester United
F.C Tokyo player Hideto Takahashi is rumoured to have told club officials, that he wants a move to Manchester United. Manchester United have been recently targeting the 24-year old Japanese player, and have sent some scouts to monitor his form. The defender who had over 60 appearances and 6 goals for his side, is believed to have told his club, that he wants a move to Manchester United. United aren’t the only club scouting the player, as officials from Hamburger SV and Borussia Moenchengladbach, are keenly interested. The player is believed to be worth around £2m, but Tokyo will be asking for a higher price, as they believe he is a future talented asset. Japanese media has already reported of a possible exit for Hideto. http://transfernewscentral.com/hideto-taka...chester-united/ |
