Wanna see Buttner play this week. Let Evra rest for CL. I wanna see Chica play! Miss him!

Evra will most likely be rested with the upcoming CL and Liv match. He's not that young anymore with the internationals going on.
As for Nani, like what I've always mentioned, he'll need to bulk up and play more consistently if he wants to gain his starting place. When he's consistent, he's a really good player but sometimes, I'm not too sure what he's trying to do as well. |

Oops. Typo. Buck up. Lol.
Now, before I forget, wishing Owen all the best in Stoke and hopefully he scores against our noisy neighbours this weekend. |

Guys, we're talking about Owen in Stoke. Not about Macheda. Lol.

RVP is good to go but how about Kagawa? Anyone got any update on him?

Though Scholes is my fav player of all time, Buttner has my vote of MOTM. Man, looking forward to see more of him!
Good goals from the players. (I wonder, there has been misses of penalties but the players managed to score again. What's with the trend? - -") |

Players verdict: (Not all)
Buttner had a not good but great game on his debut. (But he has to be careful sometimes. Luckily for us, he's fast enough and he does his job quite well.) Nani, still needs time to be more consistent but overall, a good game. (His runs, his pass that led to Scholes's goal etc are good enough for me). Welbeck - Not a bad game for an improving young star from the team. Still, he needs to make better decisions at times. Chica - Once again, our strikers miss a penalty and scores in return. (What a scary way. Overall, a good performance from the team today. A clean sheet for the defenders is always a good thing and scores from def, mid and strikers are always welcomed. |

I wonder. My thoughts are with +Newbie+ as well. Welbeck had a good game for me. Even the commentators were saying that he's doing a good job pulling strings without Rooney, Kagawa, RVP and co on the field.
As for the penalty, he did not do anything such as whine for the penalty. Unlike Young last season, the penalty was given straight by the ref (maybe his angles let him feel that Welbeck got fouled.) Quote from the site. QUOTE Though there was minimal contact and Welbeck made no appeal, referee Michael Oliver pointed to the spot, to the visible and understandable enragement of the visitors. As for the tackles, well, the players got up really fast so I feel that the ref made a good decision. Some of the decisions that he made yesterday was quite good (albeit the soft penalty) - playing advantage, tackles after tackles etc. Players nowadays have too much protection from some of the refs. LOL-ed at the low rating for Rafael. I think he played better compared to the other first few games this season.
Quote from VDS 5 minutes on Juventus, 55 minutes on United. LOL! |

I'm already waiting for Galatasaray to come.
"Welcome to Hell" was from them. "Welcome to the Theatre of Dreams" is from us. |

TBH, sloppy game after the early goal. Although I love goals, but sometimes, we get slightly over-confident after getting an early goal.
Nani, he did not do great nor bad. Average at most. Even Valencia lacked of the accuracy from what I see today. Also, I wonder what happened to our penalties this season. Still, missing a penalty, but getting wins = fair trade? MOTM (For me) - De Gea with the saves. A clean sheet, a win. What's more to ask? Here's a good read. Story in 1993 - Not forgotten |

Don't buy Ronaldo please. Buy Mikel. He can "pass" so well. Oh my.
But on a serious note, great to see Fletch back. |

QUOTE(mavericksam @ Sep 21 2012, 04:24 PM) i beg to differ... canizares, valdes and iker all has no problems with going head in for crosses... if he wants to be considered a top keeper, he has to be an all rounder... a specific weakness will only make it even more obvious how the opponent can exploit that... he really did well for the two shots vs galatasaray but he really has to address his aerial weakness... That's the prob. They already have tonnes of experiences, in CL and other places unlike De Gea that started to gain more attention in the recent years. Do take note of the age difference as well. You can't actually compare the experience that Iker and the others have with De Gea right? It's like comparing players like Scholes, Xavi to the younger players. |
