indeed biggrin.gif, but he's 25 already just earlier this month, I highly doubt SAF will do so with current age of defenders that United have unless this season is the last for Vidic and Rio and I'm sure he doesn't wanna go back just to be a bench-warmer. he's a commanding central back though, in similar mould of Rio.
Uchida as cover for Rafael? I don't think so, Fabio is gonna come back for that next season brows.gif

Roy mentioned that the team that will play against San Marino is a "second team" or kind of experimental I guess (well u can afford to do against team that only has 1 professional footballer in the team, the rest are either accountant or having other primary job/occupation laugh.gif) let's see how the line-up against Poland will be.

Jaap stam got the boot because he reveal confidential things in his autobiography which saf didn't like whereas vidic didn't do anything wrong except he's age is already catching up on him.

Anzhi willing to offer 33 m pounds, not too bad i'd say. Will need to find a replacement for him tho. Hummels would be excellent smile.gif

i dun think we'll sell coz he is quite loyal.

maybe i play too much fm already.. cos i would accept straight if i get that
saying so, dortmund not gonna sell hummels on the cheap.. i think he just signed a contract for 5 years or sth

And he's injury prone too. Hummels is considered one of the best defenders in bundesliga. But yeah, can't deny vidic's contribution towards the clubs all these years. notworthy.gif

Anyway

QUOTE
11/10/12: Nemanja Vidic will definitely not part ways with United, according to the Serbian's agent Silvano Martina. “Vidic is already part of a top club and there are no negotiations with Juventus or Barcelona,” Martinia told the Italian media. “Nemanja is not playing at this time because he's had surgery, so he's only thinking about his recovery and not about the transfer market.”

I believe Shawcross actually deserves a spot in current defenders that they have (with Cahill Lescott Jagielka). Maybe the fact he's playing in Stoke which is lesser team compare the others affect Roy's judgement, it won't take many seasons before he's moving to a big club imo. *tbh I hope that big club is United  biggrin.gif
*
Stoke defending as a unit with big, tall and strong players. Shawcross decent defending quality are just another tree in forest.

i rate him, but atm i put he as 4th choice behind Cahill, Lescott and Jagielka.
