QUOTE(Wan @ Oct 12 2012, 11:53 AM) He can single handedly win games for you. He can get goals, he can dribble, and can play through passes.. everything he does just looks natural and effortless and on the pitch wasn't that selfish(he's a good dribbler, so their kinds do tend to overdribble a bit). He and Pogba truly had everything. It's a real shame Pogba didn't have the patience to wait, and in Ravel's case, don't learn to appreciate the talent and chance that he has to change his behaviour/attitude towards making it big. SAF places loyalty above everything. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Although this is only a youth cup game, but still it's at Anfield. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « DAMN IT! I think it's the first time we have a central pairing from united. All the while england played with gerrard & lampard.

QUOTE(siksa @ Oct 13 2012, 12:40 PM) why pick from a pool of players that never win anything?pick players that can win the mix of slick passing game from united-arsenal players up front with the workmen-like reliability of evertonian players and the best england keeper around at the moment is quite good how roy manage to put them to work together QUOTE(smudger14 @ Oct 13 2012, 12:53 PM) I think it's the first time we have a central pairing from united. All the while england played with gerrard & lampard. First 111 Joe Hart 2 Kyle Walker 3 Leighton Baines 5 Gary Cahill 6 Phil Jagielka 4 Michael Carrick 7 Theo Walcott 8 Tom Cleverley 11 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 9 Danny Welbeck 10 Wayne Rooney Subs 13 John Ruddy 22 Fraser Forster 12 Ashley Cole 14 Joleon Lescott 15 Ryan Shawcross 16 James Milner 17 Jonjo Shelvey 18 Adam Johnson 19 Aaron Lennon 20 Andrew Carroll 21 Jermain Defoe the first 11 looks quite good plus some of the subs aren't too shabby either. just that we probably don't have a good second choice keeper, and the central defenders aren't imho world class but excellent players nonetheless. QUOTE(SomeoneElse @ Oct 13 2012, 12:59 PM) i hope if he does come back to BPL it will be for a good team, bolton seems quite troubled lately.QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Oct 13 2012, 12:59 PM) really? i must have been confused.but he really looks sharp and fast going forward like evra/buttner |

QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 13 2012, 02:25 PM) really? i must have been confused. u'r not confused though. mostly Uchida has been playing and known as attacking right back, if he's playing at left it's either Schalke put Howedes at RB or in last night case, there was Nagatomo who fill the spot.but he really looks sharp and fast going forward like evra/buttner |

I believe Shawcross actually deserves a spot in current defenders that they have (with Cahill Lescott Jagielka). Maybe the fact he's playing in Stoke which is lesser team compare the others affect Roy's judgement, it won't take many seasons before he's moving to a big club imo. *tbh I hope that big club is United

Welbeck's backheel goal shows that his goal in Euro was never a fluke.
Welbeck, the kid is a goalscorer of great goal, but never a great goalscorer |

QUOTE(roti-terbakar @ Oct 13 2012, 07:39 PM) Welbeck's backheel goal shows that his goal in Euro was never a fluke. those who ever thought it was a fluke must be either non-United fans or those who rarely or even never watch United Welbeck, the kid is a goalscorer of great goal, but never a great goalscorer yes that's frustrating, he's like Suarez of United in the matter of wasting chances |

Defoe should get to start more as well, he's one of the finest striker in the country he was underrated. Good thing that AVB chooses defoe over adebayor(unlike last season) in tottenham's starting line up Milner over Walcott/Lennon on the right flank? no way! Hodgson will probably have headache to choose the two centre midfielders for england between barry/parker/gerrard/lampard/cleverley and now carrick is back in the squad as well.
