Well phil jones is definately out for couple of months. Evans just got back from injury and got knock at his ankle but he said hes alright and might even feature for the next qualifier. Smalling is currently going through rehabilitation and will not be back so soon. One more injury at the back will be red alert to be honest with cl coming middle of next week.
*
yep...we're down to Rio and Vidic as the definitely fit CB, and Rio is also a ticking time bomb sweat.gif sweat.gif

fingers crossed that no further injury bug for the squad in the future

Oh yeah laugh.gif

I read in soccernet persie was subbed out due to some knock on his thigh. I bet they wana bikin suspense only. He should feature this weekend. Hopefully. With him around the pitch, the feeling of united getting goals is quite high. He will top scorer again if he is fit throughout the season. I bet arsenal must feel sengal if that happen.
*
with our better supply line, hard to think that he can't score more (he could easily had 5 goals vs Southampton)

If RVP really injured sure gg liao, Chicharito can only score from inside 6 yards box and Wellbeck can't put the ball inside net even with 5 one on one chance inside 6 yards box

I do hope rvp play this weekend. Chicha havent played for very long time and welback as you all say doesnt have the goal touches. Did we lost both matches against wigan last season or just one?it wouldnt be nice going into the midweek cl game after losing or drawing with wigan sad.gif
*
well when will Chicharito get his game time when every time the reason he is dropped is due to "haven't played for very long time"?

we should not be pressing the panic button just because RvP may not be fit enough to play, his replacement are Welbeck and Hernandez, not Chamakh/Park Chu Yong

pity owen and berbatov..great strikers but just dont fit in SAF plans. all the best to them, hopefully they dont come back to haunt us like tevez.

in the end, the club's interest comes first, not personal sentiments
its cruel, but that's how it was, is and will be

lucky thing is 3 out of 4 of them will be at Old Trafford, providing SAF wont be dicking around with the formation/player selection like last season, we should be able to come out of those alright

i know..but just hope we will get our revenge especially @ OT

if Newcastle also saving their energy for the league then it will be more or less equal playing field, or else it will be hard if they field their strongest team while we play our youngsters+fringe players (as what we did all those years)

Southampton is a weird case: twice they played better than opponent (City, United) they lost, now they "scored" more than their opponent, but they're still behind

welbeck need to learn to keep it simple at times...
i really dunno why need to hold the ball so long on many occasions...
*
basically its down to his decision making imo, sometimes shoot at wrong timing, sometimes hold on to the ball for too long...but man his work rate is awesome

Feel funny after Buttner score and the camera show Evra's expression. He look so worry laugh.gif

Good performance from lads for 2nd half. Buttner is my man of the match, can defend and attack well. A bit like Heinze for me. hmm.gif

And congrats for Scholes to score the goal for his 700th appearances. notworthy.gif
*
btw, dunno if this is true, Scholes scored on his: 1st, 100th, 200th (OG lol), 300th, 400th, 500th, 600th, 700th game laugh.gif

Wow.... after saw the powell goal scoring video i must say this kid has something special... not only the way he score the goals and the way he make every goal look so easy... was curious how come no other team go for him... he could be the next frank lampard for us if play regularly... easily 15-20 goals a season...
*
actually he is the Phil Jones of this season, where United decided to snap him up after several clubs made inquiry about him
