QUOTE(yhtan @ Sep 20 2012, 03:50 PM)
it would not create massive damage as financial crisis, i would say it is because of certain unpredictable event happen, then a certain group of people or investor start to panic, cash out its equity holding and cause massive selldown.

Eg, is Japan Tsunami heavily affect our country's economic? wink.gif
*
The big black swan now is Euro debt "agreement" failed, US fiscal cliff over-shine QE3, China wars with Japan can hurt entire world's economy further. Last but not least, BN loss after GE. sweat.gif

Added on September 20, 2012, 4:01 pmJust received E&O proposal for increase in share capital from 1.2b to 2b.
Anyone familiar with this? What's coming? notworthy.gif
Could be the reason it tried to shoot up yesterday.... hmm.gif

all papers also need put lots of salt on it. laugh.gif
if remember correctly, cypark was OSK's gem last year or so. but never heard them properly rate it, i think they just gave a FV but stayed unrated. Let me dig dig can find the paper or not.

However, I do think cypark have good potential, not now but 2-3 years down the road if they can execute the RE business well. Thier earning will jump two fold IF they can secure the funding and implement the RM 730 mil investment. For the coming quarter, we can expect they get additional 2 mil revenue compared to last quarter for the RE business for the Pajam solar park which was launched in march this year, but the actual profit will increase is yet to be seen.  whistling.gif
Agree with you, it's all about execution now, the base has already setup nicely. Hope the management is strong enough as there is little track record to look for. And the debt is really high, although not unusual for emerging energy company. laugh.gif

Low volume down. Meaning, institutions are not selling much of their shares. Retailers are at sidelines. World market basically muted after QE3 announcement, which is kind of expected after strong rally before the announcement. So this "correction" is so mild that hardly feel anything on world market. If this able to sustain for a while (without hardcore taking profit), it could be good news. So everyone is playing this waiting game now. hmm.gif

Do you guys think GST gonna implement soon? If so, will it gonna impact consumer stocks? Coz I see consumer stocks plunging like hell except DLADY tongue.gif
*
I think worldwide selling down on consumer stocks. WB's recent selling is a big sign. So I guess not much related to GST although this also may further deepen local consumer stocks. As overall in world market, perhaps the multiple countries QEs should give inflation a good run. And also because of QEs, players may switch from defensive play into more aggressive play. hmm.gif

OnG and Finance both benefits from inflation. See, it's a sign. biggrin.gif

Definitely. I'd sold all my plantation last 2 weeks. Now price looks quite yummy. If they drop another 5-8%, I think I can't hold my itchy fingers anymore. laugh.gif

Good move there.

Same thing to my KULIM

Buy 5.35, Sold 5.15, loss 20c

Now looking back, glad I did the right move.

my bkawan since got received dividend, so still on little bit profit when sold. lucky me. laugh.gif

Added on September 24, 2012, 11:37 amI hated oldtown since its food sucks. BUT, it's making profit and future outlook seems got potential too. As today, many people don't care about food taste. And as spending power has increased, some upgraded from makmak store to places such as oldtown.
Its indicative private placement price at 1.84, I'm looking if should hantam some around that price. With yield of only 3.2%, not very tempting for dividend play though. Still thinking.... hmm.gif

Added on September 24, 2012, 11:41 amHong Hong and China market shows green. hmm.gif

Last month or so Oldtown has this marketing program, where you fill up a simple questionnaire on your receipt, they'll FOC a cup of coffee on your next visit.

And I happened to see a customer left a comment: You staff never smile! Then blah blah blah with alot of food comments laugh.gif
*
So true! Their stuff sucks! But this sucks can be good for us sometimes: I once sit there and no stuff entertain me even though very few customers. And my friend and I used their "one of the fastest internet around" to do something. After 20 mins, our thing all done, still no stuff entertain us! And we just left! Free of charge internet + aircond for a quick meeting. laugh.gif

Added on September 24, 2012, 12:08 pmWondering Kassets can reach 10 or not before ex date, watching it keeps chasing IGBReit. tongue.gif
As every 5 sen on Kassets means 1 sen on IGBreit.
so If IGBreit at 1.45, means Kassets at 10.00 as an equal value. tongue.gif
From current movement, I bet IGBreit can reach 1.45 easily. laugh.gif
