Added on September 26, 2012, 2:37 pmKUALA LUMPUR: Budget airline AirAsia is seeking to discuss potential areas of collaboration with stakeholders of the new Malindo Airways.

Its Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said in this regard, he will be meeting with Lion Air's parent company, PT Lion Grup's (rpt Grup) President Director, Rusdi Kirana soon.

"We can collaborate with Malindo Airways. I am not here to make enemies. I will meet Rusdi over dinner soon.

"There are many thing that we can collaborate on. Personally, I respect Rusdi who has done a fantastic job in Indonesia," Fernandes told reporters after launching AirAsia's Badminton Academy, here today.

However, he said the competition between AirAsia and Malindo Airways, is still on.

"AirAsia has a very strong foothold in the regional aviation industry to face the competition.

"Without doubt, we will compete against each other. I know what it takes for an airline to win," he added.

HONG KONG: A Hong Kong tycoon has offered a US$65 million "marriage bounty" to any man who can win the heart of his lesbian daughter, a report said on Wednesday.

Cecil Chao announced the financial reward of HK$500 million after his daughter, Gigi, married her same-sex partner of seven years in France earlier this year, the South China Morning Post reported.

"I don't mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind hearted," 76-year-old Chao was quoted as saying.

"Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work," he added.

He also rejected "false reports" that Gigi, 33, had married abroad, saying she was still single.

Chao, who owns publicly-listed property developer Cheuk Nang, could not be reached for comment.

Same-sex marriages are not recognised in Hong Kong, where homosexuality was decriminalised in 1991.

Chao is well known in Hong Kong's social circles and regularly appears at public events with his latest young girlfriend.

He reportedly once claimed to have had intimate relations with 10,000 women.

I sold my last batch of Kassets today at 9.50 since the gap between it and the IGBReit has become too small(eqv. to 1.35 on IGBReit). Ex date will be Tuesday.
Now focus on accumulating IGBReit until my targeted volume. Now no reduction of withholding tax for Reits, hopefully next week can see selling down on reits, then it's time for me to make bigger move. icon_rolleyes.gif

sold 1/4 of my E&O today. I feel more comfortable to hold less amount since the budget 5% thing as E&O focus on high-end properties.
added more presbhd since ICT education and software licensing both looks bright in near future and this company has good partnership with top software brands. High dividend also (50% payout at the moment).

....so ya, proven once again, i am a shopaholic. tongue.gif

Alex is bearish on CPO and eyeing at 2000. Should open elephant gun when it reaches 2000. tongue.gif

For dividend, I find it hard to break 6%. If you mean trading, then maybe you can achieve that and be the living example to every1 of us.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
hard to break 6% for less than 1 year's investment. however, if you choose some high yield ones, it's still possible since some stocks offer more than 8% yield at current depressing price.
however, if look forwards 3 years time, I think it's not hard to achieve 6% as long as the company's profit continues to growth (along with their dividend).
