i believe those are franchise outlet which the head office didn't bother much, and i have some problem in communication with their staff, why don't they hire local hmm.gif

and i agree with moppy, it is a good time to accumulate some plantation stock. QE already factor in several weeks before Uncle Ben made the annoucement, i'm much more worry about Asia economy situation after Japan, Britain, Europe and US started to print money
*
Therefore you see Pohkong rebounded 20% in less than a week's time. biggrin.gif

My wild guess, IGBreit will reach 1.50. So Kassets at recent 6% discount rate, will reach 10.25*.94 = 9.63
Just my wild guess lah. Play computer game only. tongue.gif

Added on September 24, 2012, 12:43 pmPalm oil is poised to tumble to a two-year low as inventories surge in Indonesia
and Malaysia, and a global economic slowdown curbs demand. Futures in
Malaysia may slump between RM2,600 and RM2,700 a tonne by December,
Dorab Mistry, director at Godrej International Ltd said. Stockpiles in Malaysia
would continue to expand in October, November and December and might
reach as high as 3m tonnes by January. Mistry said. Inventories in Indonesia
had hovered between 3.5m tonnes and 4m tonnes since 2010 as against popular
estimates of 1.5m tonnes to 2m tonnes, he added. (StarBiz)

in fact, slowdown are everywhere. europe, china, india, us.

this time with all the firepower from central bank also not enough laugh.gif

I have the feeling that current bearish world market is just a correction for recent rally. I think the rally is not over yet for world market. Since I don't see Euro getting worse, or US getting worse, or even China getting worse. On China, I still think it's just a reasonable pullback after its multi-years strong rally on economy. Now their middle class salary raise up very nicely. This is a great achievement already. Now it's time for consolidation. ie. on those foreign investment that came in last decade because of low salary etc, now time for them to re-adjust their investment (probably moves to other still low salary countries).
Just my another wild guess lah. laugh.gif

QUOTE(cherroy @ Sep 24 2012, 02:42 PM)
Ya,  kinda agree, but don't be complacency.

China slowdown and if dip into recession, we don't know the real effect, as China has never in recession since its economy start booming decades back.
So leverage issue, over-capacity issue is not tested in real effect before.

Re-adjustment can be painful and long process as well.
Asean countries experienced before
*
Ya, never know how long this process can be. Like you said, "not tested before".
Now the government tries to switch their economic focus slowly from the extreme of heavy export to internal demand. This is not easy as well, but the increase on salary does show their success on first step. Lets wait and see if their following steps can work successfully or not. laugh.gif

From low income to mid income is easy, bring in FDI, cheap export etc.
But from mid-income to high income, not every country can, and is more difficult task.

I see. Thanks. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Sep 24 2012, 05:15 PM)
hmm.gif The king of commodities "Crude Oil" is sinking after 2 days QE3's rally, it affect all others commodities like gold and CPO price. The reason of depressed is the rumor of US may release their crude oil stockpile.  laugh.gif It maybe a conspiracy by US which it can use QE3 but the inflation maintain in low, it will benefit Obama's election in Nov 2012.  sweat.gif So the commodities price only got chance to surge after the US's election aka next year.

laugh.gif my stupid and non-sense view

hantam 1st batch oldtown at 1.83. sweat.gif

Added on September 25, 2012, 4:23 pmswitching part of DBE at huge loss into msports.
according to alliance paper, msports got 200m cash, that's more than its current market cap. Same applies to Xinquan also with cash(96 sen) more than its share price. I didn't buy Xinquan since its dividend history no good. msports paid nicely in past 2 years.
anyway, buying red-chip got big risk of fake accounting report and tough competition in China market. So, be prepared.
i play this because DBE already in huge loss, so i don't mind take this very high risk.

Sold half of my Kassets at 9.49. The remaining half plan to sell either at above 9.70 or I'll just hold them to convert into IGBreit. biggrin.gif

Nice improvement, bravo SC (for now). Lets wait for upcoming take-over offer to see if it really works. nod.gif

QUOTE(avatar123 @ Sep 26 2012, 10:37 AM)
Guys, do you think 1.38 can enter now? I'm very interested with this stock but with current price the yield is <5% which is a lot lesser than my other reits. Can you guys comments on this?
*
It's a retail mall reit. Currently only sunreit(not a pure one but majority income) and a smaller player Hektar give >5% yield.
Good thing usually don't come cheap. tongue.gif
However, my buying plan usually got at least 5 batches. I will wait for the next stabilize price to buy in 2nd batch, hopefully at lower. thumbup.gif
