its quite small so yes...
i thought that kind of question only valid with larger screen phone such as 4.3" and above...

well actually you will be using this phone pretty rough once you know how tough it is.

Bought the black xgo about a month ago... really happy camper here. Satisfied with the performance and style!

Haven't tested with GB though, as when I purchased, brought home and tried to upgrade to ICS. Unsuccessful. Error on the server.
The day after tried updating from office and ICS installed! After some checking realized that the update rollout was just 3 days old, so the server was REALLY busy!

I'm a casual user with no needs to root the phone. Just wants to take vdo underwater during fishing trips and such.
My first choice was xperia active but xgo was not dissapointing.
Using Papago M9, whatsapp, advance task killer, and some small apps, nothing fancy, and live wallpaper, some widgets, no data plan but wifi on at office and home.
I didn't integrate FB to my xperia as recommended by Sony.

My battery life was awesome! Easily lasted 2 days with normal calls and 24/7 wifi.
Performance was really snappy (is the perfect term to describe it)
Underwater performace satisfactory but unable to take picture inside the water due to no dedicated camera button but vdo is okay if you record from outside into the water.

But few days back, my phone was dropped and the front screen shattered!
I think it was the "perfect drop"! It slapped right on the face of the phone, missing the sides.
Kinda dissapointed at first but I think if it dropped at least a few degrees of an angle, it would survive.
Called the SC and they said it's not under warranty. Need to replace at my own cost.

Anyone knows where I can get AP front screen? At Sony they wanted RM500 for the repairs because the front screen comes bundled with the LCD it seems.

Thanks!

The repair bill Sony SC is demanding is quite acceptable for the price you have paid to own Xperia Go. Consider that if you pay for Xperia tipo dual which is now officially priced at RM549

Here's the crack picture.
I had it on my lap in the car (toyota wish) and exited the car. No bruise at all at the sides, but the screen was shattered. Luckily got the screen protector to keep the broken glass in place.

It still functions normally, didn't even missed a touch.

But 1 thing I noticed, to all XGo users, don't open the backcover unnecessarily.
After my phone's fall, the back cover doesn't creak. But after sending to a few SC and handphone shop, the back cover is starting to creak. The shops always open the back cover, for what, I don't know.
The final time the SC opened it and after that it creaks and unable to stop.

Can we go to SC and ask them to repair the creak?? It's annoying! I feared that if I go to them with the front cover cracked, they would say that the fall does that and it's not covered by warranty.

And that's just a fall from less that 2 feet!! Heck I've seen this phone tossed around with not even any apparent scratch!

Well, just unlucky for me. rclxub.gif

actually i have done such a test myself,
not on purpose but it really drop higher than me since i careless drop it while stretching my arms(my heights is 188cm) so plus with the length of my arm could easily become 200cm
drop face first on the ground at Sunway Pyramid concrete floor.

that's why i was like shocking.gif when he posted the picture
like grabbing a hammer and giving the Xperia Go a sadist treatment.
