My thoughts exactly. Because it shouldn't be that flimsy. Moreover, the shatterness is really not what I expected from a durable phone. A streak crack I can understand but shattered??
Even the fall from 2 storeys are not as bad as mine.

Anyways, SC confirmed that my set is original (based on the stickers).
Not at rest though, coz I hoped that the SC will say it's an imitation set.

my firmware is default GB, but when trying update to ICS... the update center said already up to date *

did sony block ICS update for go coz the problem many ppl hav?

i am using black version.
normal and updated as usual
try to factory reset first or repair inside sony pc companion

Try Sony Ericsson Update Service

need to update via pc cannot update over air

finally got ICS update for my phone...
1 downside for AP phone...

The easiest one is to root the phone without even unlocking the bootloader where you can use "Bin4ry Root Tool V13", a tool made available by Bin4ry, one of XDA Forum's developers. Google it or look into my previous posts in this thread. Right now, Bin4ry has released v15 of the tool but I still prefer v13 where I have used it to give root access to my wife's Xperia Go and recently bought Xperia tipo dual (I have created a thread for the latter here).

request a official bootloader unlock from

(It's from sony yay!!! but still the possibility of them to void your phone warranty still there) so those who new dont take risk... not worth it...

then proceed to install custom CWM and kernel by munjeni

now I'm ready for FreeXperia team to come out with their first Alpha CM9 for X-GO... their 1st release has a bug that prevent installation they are fixing it... will report once I install the next release of 144a Lotus CM9 for Xperia Go

really not happy with the ICS upgrade. now my phone will easily use up 90-95% of RAM without I running anything and it turn laggy.
Need to clear the RAM so frequent compare to last time the GB only 70-80% RAM.

Think need to root my GO or just go back to GB?

u can use any free auto killer or something out there...

im using advance task manager...
always clear-up 20%-30% of my RAM...
and take note that i even using live wallpaper at the time this screenshot was taken...

3"++ normal LCD screen cost should be slightly over a hundred rm only.

Now using cellotape. Hopefully can last for at least 1 month before getting another bigger waterproof phone.

or you can install custom rom...there is 1 rom infinity stable which is based on ics very light and snappy just install it so far very stable and awesome fast

im not register online for warranty but i keep original hardcopy warranty.. then after i go claim waranty they said if i lost my waranty slip also ok since it register in their system during i claim first warranty..

prehaps u have misunderstood about android memory management.
unlike windows, it is developed to use up all the ram & play lottery so got chance to load fast if u happen to open the program in memory.

see the "show cached processes" button below? ginger bread 2.3 has it too, by pressing menu key.
do u see where is highlights? all of the free memory!
wonder why total you add is not 512mb from phone specification?

what the task kill program that you guys have use free up ram by occupy the memory space itself.
im not sure it remain hold or release immediately. since android concept is not like that, ram will be fill up again.

as from similar specs (nova u8500 +512mb) i dont feel lag after update except phone book which load google contact together.
is it the animation slow or other
