Could be possible, because smartphones in Malaysia are not taxed. So it could be cheaper than in SG.

Well...it won't hurt to let my expectation down a bit XD
So if the news is true, we have the announcement date on 6/12/2012, and getting the phone at the end of year? |

If that is the true price, then it is a good price. That's close to what I pay here in Saudi which is RM2030. But I don't have the Nokia Music Mix Radio here in Saudi which is a bummer .... ohh well, you can't have everything I guess

BTW, azraeil, you asses the Window Store using Saudi account/region? Or linking to Sg, just like what the 7.5 users doing?

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Dec 1 2012, 07:52 AM) BTW, azraeil, you asses the Window Store using Saudi account/region? Or linking to Sg, just like what the 7.5 users doing? You can change the store by just changing the region settings. So if you change to UK region, then the store will go to UK store etc etc, much easier as compared to the Apple ID where you need to change the ID to change stores. The Mix Radio did mention that it will REQUIRE location to be turned on and it uses the Sim Card information to determine if the phone is eleigible for the Mix Radio so I can't do much there. I suspect that's why the <ix radio is missing in my Lumia ... it's okay coz I have lots of songs from my iTunes Library as well but Nokia was selling this phone with the Mix Radio feature (the web ads I mean) but it's a small issue. |

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Dec 1 2012, 08:15 AM) Hold your horses on that one. I have not tested actually buying the apps from different stores yet. My account is linked to my Malaysian credit card so I have not tested if I can purchase anything from the US/UK stores yet because I have not purchased any apps (which is awesome by the way). I plan to by Bank Account Manager soon and if the apps is available in the Malaysian store, then I will buy it from there. At the moment, I have been downloading/installing free apps which is plenty already. Once I start buying games for the kids corner we'll see how it goes. |
