not necessary for lithium ion batteries, as it doesnt have memory effect.
im sure the battery is 100% charged at the 1st time of use, so just plug in the battery and use or preferably plug in the AC adapter if you are not leaving anywhere.

the ones with issue is the new 320.18 drivers, not the 320.14 beta. there are numerous reports about the graphics card being damaged by this version of driver.

Thanks for the reply. Just a little confused here as some shops in Penang told me that the Y500 comes with 2 x 4GB RAM & if I wanted to upgrade to 16GB, I'd have to buy 2 x 8GB RAM. Is the Y500 that you are selling the official Malaysia model?
Also, any idea on when the Y510p would be availble in Malaysia?

Ya i'm still using same driver, and NO! There's no problem with this driver

But as u know, I just want to update to new driver to improve performance on my games, especially Skyrim. It ran pretty well at first, but after installing around 70+ mods, the performance was just, urm..... yeah u know how it is

And as u can see, there are new drivers for GT740M already, but GT750M still has no new drivers...

the Y410p available here is based on the 1366x768 or the 1600x900 screen?

Btw bro, about using 320.14 driver for GT740M on GT750M, i just notice an update from the notebookreview member, which say that his laptop experience black screen during gaming then CTD.... because of that one update, i'm already scared to try it out

it will not fit, because Y410p has slightly different chassis. IINM.

just bought y500 with sli from hikari85. such an amazing gaming machine.

running crysis 3 at 1080p on ultra high, dx11, motion blur with no lag.

no regrets even if the y510 comes out tmrw. xD

No lag? Weird.. Even my AC3 is lagging quite a bit..What driver version u have?

311.27. this is a class 1 graphics card bro. ur not suppose to lag. im not lagging even with Metro Last light on HIGH. lags abit on VERY HIGH.

:/ that's weird.. AC3 is lagging a bit for me... I mean, I didn't ran it on all high settings, just tweaked it according to the recommended settings by Geforce Experience.. but the lag happens after i play the game about an hour or so...

guys, sometimes my laptop gets to hot until 70 degree celcius when im playing gta4 on high setting. and the hdd also will get hotter even im not playing games. around 42 degree celcius. is this normal??
