No surprise from Lenovo.
Y400/GT650m sold out is a bad news for those have urgent needs , its a good news for those who can wait as the new restocking Y400/GT750m is around the corner.

Wish they can bring in together with Y500/FHD/i7/GT750m/ODD around 3k to continue the legendry history of Y580.

How many years of free extended warranty for Y500/GT650m sli?

gt670 sli? should be GT650m sli.
GT650m sli is a better choice compare to single GT750m.

Old model Y500/GT650m sli phase out and new Y500/GT750m is coming soon according to reseller.
If come with single card GT750m than old Y500/650m sli is better , if come with Y500/GT750m sli than it pawn Y500/GT650m sli.

So far, no news on GT750m sli. Other countries only launched Y500 with GT750m.

So far, no news on ultrabay swappable GT750m.
Generally, no overheating nor noisy for Y500 according to reviews.
Suggest to get u3 cooler to improve cooling if you are serious gamer.

Y500 has the best performance with higher specs.
Acer V3 has good ips screen.
re-15 has lower specs( but can configure), cooler and configurable to better display featuring 95% NTSC Color Gamut.
Choose the one that fulfill your needs within the budget.

Where you get the info on new MSI CX61? Any link? How much?

GT650m sli=GTX670mx=performance=heat, but not overheating.
Do check it thoroughly to iron out all the potential issues before you pay it.
Ask whether any 1 to 1 exchange policy with shop if any potential issues arise.

No swappable disc drive for Z400 . You can check with skycrawler in garage sales, whether any suitable slim caddy bay (not swappable) for Z400. You need to remove your ODD and use it as external drive.

You need to check with Z400 user or reseller whether HDD bay or ODD bay is sata3 port before you get the SSD. Generally, HDD bay is sata3 port and ODD bay is sata2 port. But pls check it out.

Z400 don't have extra msata slot for msata SSD.
Y400 has msata slot.

HDD bay is hardisk slot and ODD bay is optical disk drive slot.
Generally, HDD slot come with sata3 port which will speed up the SSD. ODD slot come with sata2 port which will slow down the SSD like HDD speed.
You need to make sure Z400 come with sata3 port to enjoy the speed of SSD.
