We are not getting the T just the TX...which sucks cause the unibody design should be more fun to play with. The plus side though is the battery is removable.

Well to gain a good position in the market they need to have US and EU support, since in Japan, the variety there is tough to beat,
I would say it is okay since as long they keep producing phone like Xperia T in future,
they already release 2 flagship worth smartphone
just that they don't go all out
example : Xperia Ion
no matter how you look at it,if the specs just would be a little better
it is a smexy enough to become flagship phone

refer here as comparison

2012 is a year where they attack the market once again aggressively after smartphone era boom,

the only thing is their flagship phones are cheaper than other maufacturer
this is because they use outdated processors
but they will easily attract users who didnt know
because some see dual core they will buy but didnt know the dual core is from a generation before sweat.gif sweat.gif

maybe they will be outdated again when other companies launch with newer snapdragon s4 pro/ chips based on cortex A15

but still sony will be releasing good looking devices with top notch hardware without top notch processors for asian markets thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
this will attract more customers still because their devices are still cheap compared to samsung/htc/lg thumbup.gif

imo sony is going to lose out again as long as they dont keep themselves updated wif technology =/ they need to release quad cores already
*
Much rather have Krait core than a quad core base on A9 architecture like my One X
Is overall more efficient

but alot of consumers nowadays only look at number of cores when buying phones. =p
i personally prefer dual core also. but i wan sony to gain more market share so they can be more competitive and come out wif even better phones

You might reconsider if you choose to purchase Galaxy S3 or HTC One X instead of Sony Xperia TX.
Latest Benchmark results show Xperia T / TX blow their competitors away. Seems impressive.
