We are not getting the T just the TX...which sucks cause the unibody design should be more fun to play with. The plus side though is the battery is removable.

QUOTE(exkaizen @ Sep 5 2012, 11:24 AM) Yeah Arc is crappy for their low phone memory but at least we still got ICS. I heard we will get JB as well. So yeah I am practically drooling over the 1GB RAM and 2 GB phone memory right now. I doubt I can wait for Xperia quadcore next year..... |

Based on the the benchmark score here, the T/TX is a steep improvement over the Xperia SL which is equivalent to Xperia S. I am going to upgrade my Arc afterall unless it comes in December.

QUOTE(uzary @ Nov 8 2012, 05:45 AM) It could be.. sony is just very slow in releasing their new phones.. myb their quad core phone wil be annouces nex year but wil b available in d market on 2014. Crazy. If my phone die now I will rather get TX ap than to wait for the ori to come out. Getting SL or ion because want ori is simply unacceptable. SL/Ion is too slow for that price haTbh, right now imo getting ori or ap really no difference ever since the XPS yellow tint case. Cause even if warranty is superb it still deterred me from buying lol. new phones usually has no problems unless it is a common issue or its mistreated or drop a lot haha |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Nov 8 2012, 10:53 PM) imo not interested to get AP as i dunno if they honor the warranty not. spend 1.5k n get a no-warranty smartphone ? then u r quite smart.. smartphone can spoil anytime without symptom at all..not like Nokia 3210 which can last long for even 5yrs... Ori have to wait until Dec wor....so looong did u read the latest news whereby at least 30units of Samsung S3 bricked for no reason ? luckily its under Samsung warranty ! LOL...imagine u buy an AP set and those ahbeng ahsou warranty co. told u no warranty bcoz its not covered under AP warranty ...LOL i never trust this ppl in anyway in my life..LOL...no way to trust them as well... Added on November 8, 2012, 11:26 pm QUOTE(Mr.CoMoT @ Nov 7 2012, 02:48 AM) i have arc but never use HDMI cable also cause it supplied cable is very short but since xperia s onwards is better with the home screen going into full screen plus the remote control navigation...but get DLNA tv even better hahaThis post has been edited by soitsuagain: Nov 8 2012, 11:26 PM |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Nov 9 2012, 09:20 AM) +1. bad marketing strategy by sony malaysia on the release date of TX... i am sure alot of people who have been waiting for its launch are quite disappointed and frustrated, and the hype for getting the phone have subsided alot. if we look at sony mobile facebook they are still promoting SL...no wonder la don't want to release TX here.well, i'll still keep my options open, for now. if by the time of TX launch and i still haven't get any new phone yet, i'll get myself some hands on experience on this one b4 deciding. |

QUOTE(SiIverStar @ Nov 9 2012, 05:56 PM) recently sony got announce many model of phone. If they release TX early other model price will drop..they rugi... Actually Sony mobile division are already at a lost. They will continue to do so because SONY has no real flagship in Malaysia. Plus it took them forever to release the T in Europe where majority users are Android.QUOTE(ckchan @ Nov 9 2012, 04:05 PM) i think the marketing staff in sony malaysia is either +11. sleeping 2. thinks sony is the only smartphone supplier in m'sia 3. thinks that m'sia consumer is so stupid that we do not know a single thing about phone spec hence, they will only launch a 2012 model in 2013... and 2013 model in 2014... |

QUOTE(reno7 @ Nov 13 2012, 11:46 AM) Yalah.. Feels rugi paying so much to get bigger screen and end up almost same screen size of my old s2... thats what the cool thing about the tx. if viewing photos, apps, videos, and games the on screen buttons will disappear! it is 4.6" screen but only slightly longer than the Arc. Imagine that!Added on November 13, 2012, 5:29 pm QUOTE(xerox8908 @ Nov 11 2012, 03:19 PM) Actually its gaining profits . Don simply use ur assumption as a fact without anything to backup . Sony mobile is not even a year my bad that was the entire division not mobile phones only. i just read Sony has gone into no 3 after Apple and Samsung. Good news indeed. Oh yeah i just read back my post I said Oct 1 i no more waiting than now is 6 weeks passed. Time really flies. This 6 weeks is easier than that sept two weeks hahaha. Maybe I check back Dec 1 hopefully phone is out... if next year only come out than i really This post has been edited by soitsuagain: Nov 13 2012, 05:29 PM |

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Nov 13 2012, 05:52 PM) Oh really? Then how would you manage the apps that require the buttons when it already disappear? How about browsing and the like? you can tap the area/volume key and then it will reveal three small transparent buttons....like the ones u see in Xperia S. Tap again and the buttons will fully appear. the menu buttons will always be on your right. about browsing i am not sure yet havent got the chance to test the phone |
