What anyone will tell u is exactly the same as first page and xda thread. So u already read then what's your problem. If u worry better dun do anything. Just use stock.

need help. Since i installed custom rom Revolt (latest version) to my S2, i cant connect to wireless hotspot when using wpa or wpa2 password. No problem connecting when it is open.

Anybody can help? Usb tethering works fine

How to wipe media scanner data. Don't think I see it in under Manage Apps

i use this for my Non G when on Gingerbread 2.3
in his case ( 4.0 ) can use or not?


Rooting


1. Download Odin and the correct CF-root zip file according to your firmware. To check, go to settings, about phone, scroll to the bottom. Look at kernel version, remember the last 3 letters, so let's say its XXKL1, then download the KL1 CF Root file.

2. Unzip the attached CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.zip

3. (USB) Disconnect your phone from your computer

4. Start ODIN

5. Click the PDA button, and select CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.tar

6. Put your phone in download mode (To enter download mode, power off the phone, then press the volume down+home+power button at the same time. Once you see the GT-I9100, let go of all 3 buttons. The phone will display "warning" and some text. Press volume up button to continue. Your phone should show an android icon and "downloading" text. This means you are in download mode now.)

7. (USB) Connect the phone to your computer

8. Make sure repartition is NOT checked

9. Click the START button

10. Wait for the phone to reboot

11. Done (if it took you more than 30 seconds, you need practise!)

Anyone suffers from major lag issue while using Siyah 4.1.4 after a while?
I'm using it for a while, seems not as smooth and stable as everyone else had.

i want ask why my s2 ap set internal memory only 400mb nia????????just bought from shop anyone can help........this is non g s2.........so non g s2 only has 400mb internal memory?

Can use. Its the same. Just make sure the CF root kernel is exactly same code i mean all 5 of it cos ICS abit tricky. Otherwise just substitute with siyah or speedmode kernel, sure will root.

yup. thats y i already blacklist those ORI battery long time ago for my phone.
i rather buy from trusted seller here than buy at shop.
feel more safe with their warranty and worthy for ur money also

Can i know is there any update available to 4.0.4 so far?
I have survey around and found out that 4.0.4 have longer battery life when in standby than 4.0.3

im using 4.0.3 with everything stock, battery is the biggest problem even though i have a spare battery.....

Well, some people says that their ICS 4.0.3 having very good battery life. This is OFFCOURSE when some people never use 3G data and seldom making call and whatsoever...

Always using 3G data and messaging cant last long in 4.0,3 for me
Gingerbread used to be lasting for atleast 7 hours.....
