But it's working now, after I installed Kies on my PC

Sent my phone to service center last friday, the person told me is hardware problem. so now waiting my phone ready in 3-5 working days.

ps: my problem is wifi cannot turn on, "turning on" mode forever

Sorry to barged in. I only observe the thread , as i like to read more, than to ask . Also because i can find my answers by reading on issues raised by others , which is similar with mine before this.

But right now, i cant find any solution for the below issue. hopefully anyone can guide me through.

My SG2 cant charge (via plug / usb) if the phone turned on. I only can charge it after turn off the phone (Shutdown).
it is a hassle to me , and upon googling up the net, tried this and that, still no solution.

by the way, mine is stock ROM and not yet to be rooted.

i am in stock 4.0.3 official now..i wan to try wanamlite rom.is it necessary do full wipe??but it mention there full wipe may brick the phone?

Yes, please do a full wipe to prevent future problems.
I think you mean if you didn't perform a full wipe then you might encounter a brick.

Very highly recommended to do full wipe. Why take unnecessary risk?.

Maybe try take out the battery for 30 seconds and then put it back, got any error msg when you charge it with the phone is on?

yup tried already that one.
no error prompted. the status once the charger being plug in , battery icon show the "Z" , but the green blinking in the icon, stay put + not charging up.

let me list down what i've tried . so that anymore bright idea anyone can give me ...

1 ) off phone. take battery (10 sec/ 30 sec / 1 min ). turn on phone. - no progress.
2) off phone. take battery (10 sec/ 30 sec / 1 min ).plug in charger without battery, on for 10- 20sec. put battery, immediately turn on phone. - no progress also.


Desperate / Drastic move :
- off phone. take battery out. slam battery to floor. put back in . turn on phone. - no progress.
- off phone. slam phone with battery inside to floor. turn on phone. - no progress.

the thing i wonder , why the battery can charge only if phone is off ?

just happen 3 days ago.
phone already 1 year plus..

hoping that i can do something. if nothing.. until i felt it totally disturb my life with charging while the phone is off , then i gotta take new hp already...

try another battery already?

same problem happen to me last month.

send for warranty they said wifi chip burned.

any knew y i off my fon or pull out batt more than 5min,the date n clock will be reset to default?seems like pc out of batt bios

ah, i guess u didnt instal the usb drivers that time, which is why it didnt work. I wont let kies to be on my pc

gave up on samsung based roms.
since LPF,LPG,and LPS, always got a long blank force close bug.
furthermore samsung based roms are very limited without jkay mod.

just go with cm9 stable,
or other aosp/aokp roms.

its really noticable faster, with slicker animations.
better stock/unmoded browser

1) battery life

or

2) performance (buttery smooth)

i tried, doesnt seem to reset, still stay the same, maybe it's using network provided time.
