1. haven't go used to auto-ISO. tongue.gif I still prefer to adjust my own. Yes, Canon definitely got it right. Just index finger press the ISO button on top and adjust the dial.

2. the AE button is quite further away that the AF-On position. For the Canon, can set the AF to * button which is even nearer to the right side.

btw have any of you tried the WU-1a for the D3200?
*
auto iso on the nikon is pretty efficient in manual mode of cos.

someone mentioned it earlier that i can be done. smile.gif I also replied that someone saying the AE button is a bit further than what I like.

now is a matter of whther I wish to put extra RM 4k to get the better camera.

I see Nikon has WU-1a for D3200 and WU-1b for D600. got any for D800? if don't have then no choice liao, D600. smile.gif I want the wireless capability.

QUOTE(gerald7 @ Sep 29 2012, 12:53 AM)
agreed its a bit further, than i would like it, but remember the size of d600 is also smaller so its not really that much of a stretch for the button. smile.gif
*
actually D600 and D800 not much difference in terms of wideness...u notice more in the height.
its still a stretch compared to where they place it on D800.
tho i still rather wait for D3s prices to drop tongue.gif

which 1 wud u guys recommend? D600 or D700? about time for me to move into FX. or shud i go wt 5dmkii ?
no money to buy D800 or 5dmkiii... blush.gif
*
imo, no money, then save up more first.

Added on September 30, 2012, 11:41 ambtw, high iso doesnt matter much to me.
i went thru my images with exposure plot, only about 1.5% of my shots using iso6400.
mostly iso 100, followed by 400 and 1600...of cos having 2.8 lenses help in sticking below iso3200 tongue.gif

Most of those pics are events during nightime or in some big convention hall tongue.gif
*
sure everyone got iso 1600 and above la.
but see the percentages...i doubt iso 6400 makes up 20% right? sure way less tongue.gif

Calling Nikon Malaysia now.
It seems like a big issue.
*
issue depends on ur camera and whether u want to make it into a big issue.
shoot more, clean it, shoot more, see if still got oil, if dont have then good...if still got then most likely its time to go visit nikon.
tho if u go nikon also, it is up to them to decide if they should also clean it again or replace the mirror box.

Has anyone tried the new 28 1.8G? I'm interested in the lens and based on reviews it suffers from back focus issues due to its field curvature when stopped down. I would like to know first hand experiences for owners of this lens. Thx!!
*
i tried it for a short while on a D700.
its ok, sharp but not as sharp as i expected compared to the 50mm 1.8G.

but stopped down, never tried...never really bother as well on wide angles.
