correcting them in post can get pretty accurate. it all depends on the the photographer's eye.
if you friend was using the 1Ds, then it's a plus point as he get to use the 17mm TSE... probably one of the best L lens. the 24mm TSE is fantastic too. just remember to get a super sturdy tripod (Gitzo series 3 at least) and a hot shoe spirit level and your friend can start to make some moneyyyy
*
ah... 17mm TSE huh.. ok ok thanks for the comments, much appreciated!

just got my d3200, first dslr. wanna ask when the lens is put in auto mode, it would auto focus and stuff would look sharp, but if it's in manual mode, it doesnt look sharp. why is that? should i press the shutter release longer to keep it in focus during manual mode?
*
hmm.gif assuming u did focus manually until the dot appear in the view finder.... it is truly an x file laugh.gif could be something damaged

in AF-M mode, there is no half press shutter to focus things.... u have to turn the focus ring on the lens

your SOOC is already good and it is properly exposed, white balanced is off, i assume you use auto?

PP is just to enhanced what is there, not to save a bad image

i'm going to asaban festival later, it is in an indoor basketball court, expect your picture to have green tint without custom white balance
*
Yes, i used auto wb.

Went to asaban, just stay there for 3 hours only, kinda boring so left at 4pm. sad.gif

I'm using D3100 atm and thinking of getting a portrait lens. Any recommendation which should I get?

Purpose: top priority is to take figure pictures (like the one above)

Budget: if possible, less than 1k
