I think need to be a Full Time Photographer too.
*
Oh, I didn't know about this requirement.

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Oct 23 2012, 02:53 PM)
Or get a crop sensor body (e.g. D7000) and a 17-50mm f/2.8 Tammy. Still got spare change from his 24-70 fund, can get a prime also or a Flash Gun.
*
Couldn't agree more.

If you would have gotten the combo above, you already shot at least 10K of good photos while waiting for your FX body to arrive. It isn't that you'll be godlike in low-light when you got FX body to pair up with 2470, without flash still insufficient of light at most of the time in low-light condition.

Sorry ya if I poke you, I actually jeles you got 2470 sleep.gif tongue.gif

ya combo is nice, but then i not really perfer on 3rd party lens. (partially also i heavily rely on lens AF speed and accuracy tongue.gif)
oh wait AF accuracy is based on lens right? unsure.gif

ya i get the point but i want slowly slowly collecting moneh for nikon brand things tongue.gif (meanwhile people around me tempting me to change my 2-3 years old gadget like ipad/ nokia phone to others, they are devils mad.gif )
this year i didn't kiamsiap for food money, i think most of my money goes on food.

Hey guys, I love my D600 and I recently tried shooting landscape shots. I noticed spots in my pictures and omg....dust/oil spots ALL over!!! Prior to this, I've mainly been shooting indoors, events and some weddings. It's my first month since owning the D600. Here are the pics..

I've messaged Nikon Malaysia and still awaiting their reply.

Vignetting was caused by 35 1.8G DX (used to test only, closest lens to me)
*
same problem on my d600 as well and it not a dust.
can let us know what nikon reply to u? the boss where i buy the camera ask me leave it for the moment because the camera was so new to do a wet cleaning.

Actually depends on what you use for, for general use, you won't really complain unless you're shooting sports or important events. For your usage, I don't think it'll be a problem for you.

Plus, lens don't drop price much, when you want to change to FX, you can sell your DX lens and only loose a little. By that time, maybe there is new version 24-70mm already who knows? Hehehe tongue.gif

But then it's up to you, as long as you're happy with your choice and purchases. Everyone have their own opinion, no right or wrong.

QUOTE(cuteyuzikid @ Oct 23 2012, 11:46 AM)
I actually plan on buying a D5100, 18-55 this weekend, but there are some questions I'd like to clear out:

Should I just get the body only, and forego the 18-55? Coz from what i hear the kitlens are "a piece of plastic shit" etc etc bad news sad.gif

Or should I change the kit set to maybe an 18-200/18-105?

Someone even suggested to just get a fast prime 35/50 f1.8 and save up for the zoom lens.

I'll have to take into account my main priority which is to travel light as well. Do you guys have any opinions on this? Would sincerely like to hear more opinions coz i'm pretty unsure still.
*
last week a colleague also ask the same question.
here is the suggestion i gave to him: buy D5100 boy + used nikon 18-105mm

overall he spend ~1500 for the body and ~700 for the used lens, within his budget and enjoy the camera.

Similar dust/oil spots have been widely reported on Amazon's customer reviews, on [NR] Forum and other websites. As of today, there is no official statement from Nikon and I don't think there will ever be one.

Added on October 23, 2012, 6:34 pmand tmr the 70-200 f/4 is officially announced...time to see the official price tongue.gif

Yeah! Without TC the motorbike is so small, I'm shooting in crop mode too. Which makes it about 350mm x 1.5 equivalent.
