QUOTE(0163119779 @ Aug 30 2012, 08:00 PM) Hrmm...I didn't plan go for Fx in future 10 years...What I think is gear doesn't means everythings... I also have the same thought n say won't upgrade to ff when I first bought my d5100...But now I already change my mind n regret all my lens were for dx only... |

i also using tamrom 70-300mm vc, so far so good...
just that when i bought it the lens give very low exposure during matrix mode and only working properly in spot mode. after send back to warranty and now it working perfectly. but like u say, the price between nikon and tamron 70-300mm is almost same, just get nikon. i miss out this because thought nikon lens wont be so cheap |

QUOTE(gerald7 @ Sep 14 2012, 11:29 AM) There is a gain in DX mode... you get 1.5x crop. good for tele shooters as you get more reach. crop factor still apply when in DX mode?i thought this dx mode just simply crop ur photo for the side. |

the focus bracket area for D600 is relatively smaller compare to others FF model, so make sure u can accept it before make the purchase. for those use to single point at middle then no issue la...
for ppl come from DX like D300S or D7k that has the focus bracket cover almost all area will find hard time to get use to it. at least it happen to me from D7k. check below link for the comparison with diff model link This post has been edited by ongdennis: Sep 25 2012, 11:39 AM |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Sep 25 2012, 12:36 PM) To me, crop sensor don't have 100% coverage in VF yeah, d7000 has 100% VF.Except mayb D7k ? Idk, but I think because large sensor, 100% VF that's why make it small for the AF coverage ?! but of course Nikon can make it wider but seems D800 also the same case D800 has 51 focus point, overall it slightly wider than the D600. but all this is compare from the web and also user comments, dont have the chance to touch n feel the D800... |
