Yo all. player reporting in. I registered for the closed beta but didnt do it. Lucky I saw this tread, otherwise I wouldnt have known the game has already been launched. Edit - opps spoke too soon. open beta only izit?

I didnt read through all 12 pages, but saw some discussion on previous MW games you all played. I first played Battletech/MW with BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Revenge on my old Intel 386 DX, then I played the board games called Battletech, card games (never owned the cards though), all the mechwarrior series except MW 1, all the Mechcommander series. I think that was all. anyway downloading the game now haha.

how to change/increase my hardpoints from energy to balistics etc?

There is no way to increase or change your mech's hardpoint, buy another variant.

nope the board game is actually cheap once you already have the board. there used to be some free programs out there that you can use to customise/design your own mechs. but i have no idea if they still exist.

aiyak i just tried the game. damn laggy for me. probably coz my GC sux. looks like i will be giving this game a miss.

How about lowering your graphics setting? will it help? Im trying most medium setting with some highs. Still not good. but playable. Maybe try all medium later.

This one maybe wonky/anand can explain to you. I still not sure on that yet. ARMD tag is granted by those higher rank ARMD member.

have been busy this few days, hard to touch game at all :'(

Guys the latest patch really broke the game.

Hardly can play with low fps. Scouted around the MWO forums, I'm not the only one affected.

Before this still playable with 25~30 fps on my low end pc, 10fps drop is not noticeable for some of you guys who is getting higher fps but not for me.

I might quit temp before till I get new hardware or they fix the prob asap.

I've not experienced the fps drop. And i'm using ancient 3 year old Quad core with 5870 gc only.

But bugs are more prevalent tho like stuck at mechlab when done with loudouts after a match, crash to launch menu which i never get pre patch.

Pity, im thinking to rest for few days actually, tired everyday. kinda old dy i think.

Im getting low FPS for this game, abt 10(during gun fight) - 40fps. Using QuadCore also, Core 2 Quad Q9550 with GTX570. Having frequent disconnection yesterday around 11pm. Haiz...

maybe affect just ATi Radeon users?

I dont think so, hopefully not due to my aging CPU, upgrading PC is too exp for me.

Lets hope it will improve with patches.
