I called MAS number and the cs say it's not an issue. However, i'm still scared la if anything. Havent called travel agency yet, since this is booked via company for business trip.

Ok, cc again: mambangafro stimix

Not sure about MAS as I never go oversea with them, but never put 'bin'/'binti' for mine or
My family airasia ticket when flying abroad. So far never encounter any problem.

Food limited la. You can always ask for more. They will give if they have. Drinks free flow la. But you drink too much, hoo haaaa they will lock you up in toilet la.

Alcohol is free flow even in Y class !!!

Quality of alcohol especially wine and champagne is better in J class. Food definitely more palatable. And on some airlines, like Qatar, you can tell him when exactly to serve your meal.

I don't recommend going overboard with alcohol when you are flying long haul. I squally partake in a glass of champagne before takeoff and after that, only request for Virgin Mary's.

Best thing ever on J class for me is still the sleep-bed 👍

Nothing is unlimited. It is generally all free flow, but once they run out, they run out.

I have not travelled for a while. What is the rule regarding powerbanks? I hear many versions. Some say cannot bring into luggage, some say cannot check in.

AFAIK, if you hand carry it, it should be fine.

if you booked a return flight and miss the first flight, the return leg is automatically burn.

Is this only applicable for full fledged airline?

On my recent trip to Tawau via Airasia. I booked a return flight to Tawau much much earlier due to promotion, but later realized that I can't make such a long trip. So I booked another 1-way flight from KL-Tawau and plan to burn my earlier KL-Tawau ticket from the return flight.

During web check in, I checked in my return flight (Tawau-KL only) for my first booking.
And check in as usual for my second booking.

No issues whatsoever. But please check with your airline for more info.

I think it has to do with the way airlines operate.

traditional full fledged airline - return is always cheaper, if you book 2 x one way it will cost more than a return ticket.

budget airline work a little different in the sense that they just add up the cost of going and return.

I miss my MAS flight and they automatically remove my return ticket, called and they claimed this is the policy and there is nothing you can do about it. A friend share that it is possible to rescue that ticket if you have special reasons such as health condition etc but basically if you miss the first flight of your booking due to last minute change by yourself, your whole booking is gone.

Yes can. As long as each baggage is below 32kg and max total up is 20kg as per what you've bought.

Anyone got experienced with flight delay insurance claim with MHInsurance? I got 20hr flight delay. Per policy I shud be getting RM900 ( RM300 for each 6 hr block). Wonder everything can be done via email or fax instead of snail mail for submitting the claim form.

To all wandering travellers;

I'd like to ask about passport safekeeping.

Do you bring it along everywhere you go during the trip,
or do you keep it safe in the hotel room (kept safely in the safe box) ?

I am finding it a hassle to bring it,
but am concern that I may get in trouble for not having it with me.

What about you guys ?
