Guys, wanna ask bout something, not sure where to ask, but this subtopic seems to be a good place. laugh.gif

So I've bought this air ticket from AirAsia via online transaction to Bali. So for now I just wait until my travel date and print out the Air Asia Travel Itinerary emailed to me? Coz I see there are booking numbers in it. So on that day I just bring the Travel Itinerary and use it to exchange with actual tickets? And also in the email there's this link, View and Print Travel Itinerary. So I assume we must print it out to exchange with actual tickets?

And also what is a Web-Check In?

This is my first time buying flight tickets on my own. So kinda blur. Hope u guys can give like step of procedure on what to do on that day itself.  notworthy.gif

You may print and bring the Travel Itinerary along as reference. There is no exchange of actual ticket for AirAsia.

What you need to do is to perform Web-Check in:

All flights from 14 days up to 1 hour before departure for AirAsia (AK, QZ, FD, PQ, Z2, I5) flights and up to 4 hours for AirAsia X (D7, XJ, XT) flights.

Once you performed the Web Check-In, you will get the Boarding Pass..print it. Bring this Boarding Pass to the counter.

ok, so basically, I just perform Web Check-In anytime between 14 days to 1 hour before departure, print out the Boarding Pass and I'm good to go?

Thanks for the tips. smile.gif

Yes. Make sure you have obtained the visa if the place that you are heading to requires it.

I always travel with mosquito repellent. This might sound really random but I think I suffer from denguemophobia. I am very scared of getting dengue. In short, I kiasi.

I have a 6 month old daughter too, so now I am also scared that she gets dengue. So far the best mosquito repellent that I have found is this brand Mozzy. Smells great, non-sticky, baby safe and it actually works! But it's so hard to find in pharmacies etc.

Bought it at a baby fair in Mid Valley a while ago and the only place that I can find it now is at mozzy.myshopify.com.

For the record, I am NOT Singaporean. tongue.gif

Hi, I wanted to ask...

Does laptop bag considered as one of the hand carry luggage? Let's say I have a hand carry luggage and a laptop bag now.

I was stopped by Jetstar due to I was carrying both bags which exceeded 7kg combined.

Jetstar limit is 7kg combined, hand luggage and personal item. I always skip jetstar if there are other choices because of this rule and they conduct checks more often and stricter.

Is there any restriction on bringing selfie sticks onboard AirAsia international flights?

Is metal selfie stick is not allowed on carry on luggage?

so the tips here is to remove the price tag?
i did think the same to remove price tag lol
yeah definitely more than that!

What kind of shopping items are you looking at? Branded luxury items?
If it's for personal consumption, I doubt you'll have any issues la. I was told if gadgets then might have some issues.

QUOTE(cun10 @ Jul 21 2015, 02:45 PM)
may i ask if 20" of luggage bag can bring on board as hand carry?
*
Standard 20" luggage is usually cabin approved.
You can check with the respective airline that you are flying on for the allowed cabin luggage size. It differs for each airline but it's usually it's around 22" x 14" x 9" or 55cm x 35cm x 25cm.

thx for reply!
I'm flying with airasia, they direct me to the link and stated this dimension 56cm X 36cm X 23cm
so i think 20" is not a problem right?
if i had a small bag with an eco bag, also can be carry on board right?
*
Shouldn't be a problem. Measure your bag. As long as it's within the dimensions.

Try not to carry so many bags. One cabin luggage and one handbag/slingbag/laptop bag is no problem.
