I'm looking for 23" monitor for my pc and also use it to play xbox. Currently look at Dell U2312HM. The question is when I connected it with xbox, where the sound will come from as it does not have hdmi port and built-in speaker? Use dvi to hdmi?

Add-on : Perhaps, is there any monitor comes with built-in speaker within that price range? Thanks.

IIRC correctly the S2340L,S2740L,IPS237L,IPS2770L doesn't have VESA mount holes. IMO a 1920x1080 resolution 27" display is preferable to a 23" one due to the extra size [provided that the other parameters are the same]. Text may not be as sharp but it's not blurry or too big either.

You can also get the S2340L or the IPS237L which has HDMI ports and 3.5MM audio out ports.

Hi guys.
I assume this is the best place for me to get some decent help on monitors.
I am planning to go 1440p with the Dell U2713HM.
But after reading some reviews, the input lag will be a major problem for this monitor. Average is 28-30ms.
Currently i am on a Samsung S23A950D.
So what I am wondering, would I be able to notice the input lag since the Samsung is rated at 2ms and average at 15-16ms.
This monitor will be used for console gaming, PC gaming, work, and everything else in between!

i used this monitor since september last year.
for me, this monitor is very awesome.
u won't notice about the lag with naked eyes. i also used for gaming, movie etc.
for me la, i didn't notice any difference with my previous monitor..

Ordered and received 2 x Dell U2413. Both have problems with the power cable

Waiting for them to send a replacement but a very disappointing start for a "premium" monitor.

my second choice is the S27A950D. but i don't like 27" monitor with 1920x1080.
