Just now saw you guys playing online, tonmj & welwitchia sent an invite, I joined and watched you guys play. Want to play with you guys, but the queue to wait for my turn is kinda long (IINM 3 more matches before my turn), so I continue with my Time-Attack to unlock Tengu.

Finally, I unlocked Tengu. Next mission, unlock all costume. I've unlocked all costumes for all characters except for Spartan-458. She currently have only the 2 default costumes. tongue.gif

Aiyah, be patient a bit lah... that's normal when you have 4-5 people in a lobby, just wait your turn. Anyways it's always fun watching other people fight and laugh at their mistakes laugh.gif

Anyhoots, nice games last night. So long never play, karat already. But I still remember my all important Hayate teleport move tongue.gif Wel, you got a video capture thingy is it?

Actually I'm in the middle of unlocking Tengu when I receive the invite. If I'm doing nothing at that time, I would have stayed.

I've unlocked all the costumes! rclxm9.gif

Just now when I trying to unlock Spartan-458's costumes, I got logged out from Xbox Live (due to bad internet connection), then I pressed the guide button and reconnect to Xbox Live. Suddenly, all the characters and the costumes I've unlocked are missing as if it's the first time I play the game. cry.gif

I panicked thinking that it's caused by the bug. I thought it's impossible since I've downloaded the game update. I pressed the guide button again, go to the dashboard, and re-launch the game. Thankfully everything went to normal. What a relief! icon_idea.gif

Next in my checklist:

* Collect all items in Survival Mode
* Get 100 Wins in Survival (although my current hightest win count is only 30+)

By the way, how to get the Bronze / Silver / Gold star achievement? Last night I get a message saying that I get a Bronze Star, but I didn't get the achievement. unsure.gif

Good luck getting 100 wins in survival whistling.gif So far the best record for me was 93 wins...so close yet so far.... sad.gif

Bronze star - Defeat a player on DOA online with a 10-14 win streak
Silver star - Defeat a player on DOA online with a 15-19 win streak
Gold Star - Defeat a player on DOA online with a 20 win or more streak

IGN has posted boobs-on details for DOAX2....
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/730/730471p1.html

Highlights include:

- Only 2 Xbox Live enabled minigames? The Marine Race (AKA jetski) and of course the volleyball.
- The volleyball is only 1 on 1, with each person having an AI partner. What the fcuk! 2 on 2 would be better. Itagaki mentioned that it's not as fun, blah blah blah, but I've played 4 players Beach Spikers on GC before and I can tell ya, it's as fun as hell
- Nine "fighters" so no Spartan I guess tongue.gif
- Each fighter has 300 bathing suits, so total of 2700 bikinis!! drool.gif
- Nitro boost in Marine Race. Hoookaaaay....
- Besides volleyball and jetski, the other games are:
1) Butt battle
2) Pool Race
3) Tug of war
4) Beach Flag

The game is shaping up to be great, but with the volleyball being only 1 on 1, that's a bit disappointing.... nevertheless, I'm still gonna get this game no matter what! Hopefully the US version is region free, cos that's the version that's gonna be released first laugh.gif

More DOAX2 goodness:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/730/730809p1.html

So yeah, the release date will be pretty much the same for all regions. Interestingly, Itagaki mentioned they'll be showing off 5 games at TGS. DOAX2 is one, DOA Cronus, Ninja Gaiden 2 rclxms.gif and 2 more unknown games.....

According to that link:

QUOTE
IGN: It's really interesting, some of the first developers didn't get their kits until very late, and they were using G5 Macs to program for, and they weren't used to programming for multiple processors. What do you use the six different threads on the three cores for?

Tomonobu Itagaki: Well, for instance, if you were to shut down two of the threads in the engine, then you wouldn't see some of the hair blowing or some of the ribbons or strings moving in the wind. So even on the same hardware, how we really use the hardware really depends on the title. So if you're working on a game like Ninja Gaiden 2, where it's really important that enemies are smart and challenging, then we might use up to two threads on AI. But for a game like this, where our main goal is to make the girls look good, then we can use two threads for hair and cloth physics. So it's really important to make the hardware do what you want to show.

So this means 1 core (2 threads) are reserved for cloth & hair physics? I thought we won't see game that utilise more than 1 core till 2007.

I guess wait for DOAX2 asian version then, should be cheaper. Also Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a port of old NG on xbox with enchancement and add stuff but it still looks pretty darn good.
