How to unlock costume for those character that are not playable in Story mode? Ein, Gen Fu, Leon, and Spartan-458?

I beat the Time-Attack mode but didn't unlock any costume? Don't tell me that I have to use the default 2 match point (I changed it to 1) because it's hard enough to win against Alpha-152 once, and I have to beat her twice in a row?

One thing I don't like about DOA4's achievement is, even though I have unlocked the Gold Medal achievement for time trial, I have to manually unlock Bronze & Silver medal achievement.

Why can't they make Bronze & Silver unlock automatically after we unlocked Gold? In PDZ, if we beat the game in Secret Agent (normal) difficulty, we'll unlock achivement for both Secret Agent (normal) & Agent (easy) difficulty in one shot without having to play easy mode first.

Huh? Didn't know that. I get my gold medal by using default setting with Ayane.

My fav character in DOA, Ayane & Christie. Both are evil character.

Eh? Not evil? But she seems bitter and she have deep hatred for her half-sister, Kasumi. But I think it's understandable considering she's unwanted by her own mother.

I tried playing online, but everytime I play, I get connected to Japanese player, and the connection is bad.

Haven't tried playing with Malaysian yet.

I've unlocked all costumes for all story mode's character. Now I'm going to unlock all the costumes for time-trial characters.

Yah, I need all the luck I can get. It's difficult enough to defeat Alpha-152 once, but in Time-Trial mode, I need to defeat her TWICE.

Tried playing DOA4 online with some Japanese yesterday, they win the first game, and I ask for a rematch. In the 2nd game, I'm winning, and they quit in the middle of the game. What a coward!

Because they quit, I was declared as the winner, but when I check my battle record, my victory is not recorded. I guess because the match was not completed, and ended while it's in progress.

EDIT

Why there is no Kokoro's Kimono costume (the one in Intro, and E3 video)? I'm disapointed since the Kimono is quite nice.

This week can't. Got 2 midterms this week. Last night was playing because my brain was showing 2 red lights symptoms after studying for midterms.

I checked my friend list and nobody is online, so I have no choice but to choose quick match, and I was matched with some Japanese player.

Usually how much Zack Money can we get by winning online match? Want to buy costumes for those time attack character. I don't have the patient / skill to win 2 consecutive matches against Alpha-152 in Time Attack mode.

I don't know whether this info has been posted before. I read info about Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 at Wikipedia, and this line attracts my attention:



My guess, one of the possibilities is by having DOA4 save data when playing DOAX2; we can unlock bikini costumes for the girls in DOA4.

Any other guess?

Actually, the costumes that DOAU unlocks on DOA3 is already included on PAL & NTSC/J version of DOA3. It was left out of US version of DOA3 because the game was rushed to make it on Xbox's launch.

Since the quote said that saves from one game having a substantial impact on the other, what do you think will be unlocked on DOAX2 if we have DOA4 save data? Spartan-458 playable in DOAX2?

You don't really know how Spartan-458 looks under that armor. She could be sexier than any other DOA girls.

Just now saw you guys playing online, tonmj & welwitchia sent an invite, I joined and watched you guys play. Want to play with you guys, but the queue to wait for my turn is kinda long (IINM 3 more matches before my turn), so I continue with my Time-Attack to unlock Tengu.

Finally, I unlocked Tengu. Next mission, unlock all costume. I've unlocked all costumes for all characters except for Spartan-458. She currently have only the 2 default costumes.

Actually I'm in the middle of unlocking Tengu when I receive the invite. If I'm doing nothing at that time, I would have stayed.

I've unlocked all the costumes!

Just now when I trying to unlock Spartan-458's costumes, I got logged out from Xbox Live (due to bad internet connection), then I pressed the guide button and reconnect to Xbox Live. Suddenly, all the characters and the costumes I've unlocked are missing as if it's the first time I play the game.

I panicked thinking that it's caused by the bug. I thought it's impossible since I've downloaded the game update. I pressed the guide button again, go to the dashboard, and re-launch the game. Thankfully everything went to normal. What a relief!

Next in my checklist:

* Collect all items in Survival Mode
* Get 100 Wins in Survival (although my current hightest win count is only 30+)

By the way, how to get the Bronze / Silver / Gold star achievement? Last night I get a message saying that I get a Bronze Star, but I didn't get the achievement.

Eh, the release date is out? I thought the release date is still Q4 2006?

Maybe like DOAXBV, the US version did come out first, but it earlier by only 1 day.

US Version is still USD 59.90. Yup, it's true. Japanese game is always more expensive.

There are online gameplay but only for beach volleyball & Jet-Ski mode.
