Thanks AssToast for the reply.

I'm downgrading to H77 board, specifically for Asrock H77 Pro/MVP board to use with i3-3225. No need to OC, and support RAID config, plus so many SATA ports!!

HD4000 as I dont need to install GPU on this board, running remotely, or maybe just troubleshoot with monitor once in a while without the need of a GPU. Does this make sense?
*
do note the asrock is atx size, all the i3-i7 comes with integrated gpu, there's no need for hd4000, the hd2500/3000 works just fine for normal usage

Added on October 16, 2012, 6:41 pmoh ya lowyat not many shops got stock for the asrock

Core i3 3220 = RM389
Core i3 3225 = RM455

That's RM66 difference only >_<

But yeah, if the feature is not required as a home server (which, i may add, might be used as streaming videos from) - then I'll go with i3-3220
*
hd4000 is only faster compared to hd3000 if I'm not wrong, 66 considered a lot

Thats good! Idk about liquid cooling but my friend says its quite good and its better than air cooling since its more silent. I might be handling some audio files so that kinda helps. Thanks for the recommendation! biggrin.gif
I see.. Some people suggested me to get gtx680 for gpu.. however this rig is good enough to run current modern games at ultra settings right? One more thing, why xeon instead of i7? anyhow thanks for the recommendation! biggrin.gif
*
xeon is basically i7 without an igp and at a cheaper price; as for gtx670, can go for msi gtx670 power edition, beats a stock gtx680, just get cable build, throw in an enermax naxn 82+ 550w rm215

Added on October 18, 2012, 9:54 amif u on play mmorpgs, no need so powerful gpu wink.gif

i would say 3-3.5k for 1080p gaming

oic.. actually i want to get a mobo that support usb3.0.. if i want the msib75 which casing should i use?
*
Same casing, the MSI B75MA-P45 is also m-atx

QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Oct 29 2012, 10:23 AM)
should do the trick but just to remind you that the elite 343 chassis doesn't have front panel USB3.0 port... so you'd have to get a 5.25" adaptor should you want to stay with that one wink.gif

like so
