Non K processor? if yes, then change to a H77 mobo. Maybe Asus P8H77-M LE rm315 in viewnet pricelist

GPU of that range, as per Cable707, HD7850. But GTX670 is more future proof imo.
*
+1 for the mobo . Can also consider MSI h77ma-g43 rm319

QUOTE(Par@dox @ Sep 3 2012, 10:10 AM)
Thanks for the recommendations. Other than saving RM20-30 switching to a H77 board, are there any other benefits of doing so? I am thinking of keeping my options open for a future overclock with Z77, although I understand that the non K processor is not made for overclocking (may need to get a new processor by then). Hmm..
*
If there's a chance u will oc , why not get the k version of the 3570 ? Not much difference though , one shot

tq for your fast reply and your information.

i will be using maybank credit card.

btw,

as for my rig. this is what i have on my mind right now.

core i5 3570
asus p8z77-m
kingston 8gb
gtx 670
wd blue 1tb
liteon dvd
seasonic s12 II 620W/corsair GS 600W
Cooler Master Elite 431+
128gb ssd
windows 7 home premium.

do u think i can fit that around rm3.5k-3.7k budget?
*
a little refined spec for ur consideration

intel core i5 3450 rm579
asus p8h77m-le rm315
kingston value 4gb x2 rm126
leadtek gtx 670 rm1270
wd blue 1tb rm245
liteon dvd-rw rm60
silverstone st60-fp rm349
cm elite 431 plus rm159
intel 330 120gb rm339
ms windows 7 hp rm263

prices from all it (assuming u getting full rig doing epp payment)

the option in ALL IT is kinda limited like the psu and casing, prices are kinda high compare to others as well

Can give suggestion? I go for that board for oc feature de...
Hope to build this rig myself, kinda fun smile.gif
*
first of all i wanna say is most oc board like msi, asus, asrock come with own oc software. those software are only to let u have an idea how far u can oc ur cpu, to play play, to test. those software isn't comparable to bios oc which is most stable and more option for u to tweak. for me i never use those software to oc. because of this reason, asrock z77 extreme4 rm4xx is a better go compare to this msi z77ma-gd65 rm6xx.

For that, I'd rather top up and go for a XSPC RASA custom WC kit instead.
The D14 is on par with the H100, if not better in terms of cooling and noise.
*
totally agree with that

I wouldn't suggest the Prodigy mainly it's huge for a mini-ITX casing.
A Silverstone TJ08-E has around the same dimensions, but since this is a mATX case, you have far greater ability to upgrade and expand.
Oh, I think you can move your current parts into the TJ08-E. wink.gif
*
tj08-e again tongue.gif can't deny, it's a great casing

If you want mini-ITX, go for SG05/SG08. brows.gif

i once get my hands on the prodigy with all the hardware ready, end up i switch back to mid tower and then now full tower tongue.gif

i also had a rig with tj08-e, sold to a nice forumer from penang biggrin.gif i can say the size is almost the same with the prodigy, make sure it's not a short excitement to jump to prodigy , think twice
