Hello.. thx for the suggestion.  btw, did u suggest intel xeon for specific reason?  I don't know much about it but when i look it up on web, it said it's for based-server pc?  Can you explain a little bit on this matter?  And I would like to add that my main purpose would be 3D rendering but at the same time i would like to run games like battlefields 3 in good graphics too.  and would it be possible to get a SSD Harddrive too as I've heard that it's good for rendering and such thing.

Thanks alot.

Xeon has the performance of an i7 at a cheaper price, even though its a server processor, it works like an normal processor just that it doesnt have a integrated graphics, 7850 should be able to handle BF3 no problem, u can get a 60 GB SSD at RM200+

Im trying to build a rig end of this month.

Based on the Jayacom pricelist, I think im going for this rig.

Core i7 3770K 8MB 3.4 RM1010
D3 HyperX 1866 4Dimm 16GB RM445
240GB GT Sata3 RM799
P8Z77-V LGA1155 D3/ CrossFireX/ SLI/ GamingBoard RM649
GTX 660 Ti Direct CU II / DirectCU II “O ” 2GB DDR5 192Bit RM1160
ASUS Box Dvd+RW 22X RM57
CM690 II Advance Desktop Chasis RM370
23” LG LED monitor E2341V RM450
Logitech® Gaming S520 RM148
Z523 Logitech Speakers RM265
Backup power BK650-AS RM265
I don't know how to pick a power supply unit for this build.

It end up with the total price of 5600+.
Any suggestions what sort of stuff i should improve on and cut short off?
Budget is around 5.5k for me.

Overclock yes. SLI maybe no.
But then again, whats the price difference between SLI and non-sli.

Im not sure what kind of desktop chasis and cooling system to use if i overclock it.

2. is 240gb ssd necessary? usually 120gb is sufficient for os, programs and games (like what i'm doing now)
3. if u really buying, let me know i recommend u a place for better pricing brows.gif

gomenasai for my ultimate noobness  notworthy.gif

4gb barely enough? 8gb consider overkill already for an home pc but ram are dirt cheap so we usually recommend 8gb
the msi is perfectly fine and the graphics card is perfectly fine also since u want to play games, can get 1tb if u store a lot of movies or music
the liteon dvd Rw is perfectly fine too

just go for the 2nd build, can also lower down the i5 to
3450
