mounting bush set? i assume you're referring to engine mounting set? there is no so called 'oem daihatsu' brand, i have bad experience with this so called 'oem daihatsu' many years back, replaced a front lower arm, problem came back after a year, then change brand trw, use until today still fine.

back to the topic, why don't you get mechanic to check your engine mounting whether all bolt and nut has been tighten up to requirement?

and torque converter won't cause vibration.

i don't think you get to buy this from kenari/kelisa halfcut specialist, they won't have it, this is common spare part you can just get from any halfcut shop. or why not buy brand new? since kenari/kelisa already have some ages in the market, parts you get may be very old.

my regular mechanic said if buy the bush..need to pump...there's 8 bushes in total, that's about RM240.00 (pump cost RM30 per bush) not including the bush part and labor charge. All in would be about Rm500.

I think if buy that whole arm, would be cheaper.

sent the car to the mech odi.. and indeed he blame the fake oem daihatsu eng mounting

if you are near sunway then velocity is good, or if near shah alam nan's store,next stage garage,csn, well, alot of shops really.

do note that rs set is quite exp, 500 upwards just for the front bumper alone (may not include hid lamp). i would budget rm1k for the whole set (front/side/rear/spoiler w/o painting of course) just to be safe. even i think that is quite stretching it, belum masuk rs hood lagi. rclxub.gif


if you found the one you like do inquire the shop first as rs set do sell quite fast.


thats why i play aerodown only, not enough moolah to play rs/american metal laugh.gif

omg thanks for the detailed reply , haha just wondering ... i dont what year of the kenari you own but mine a being an old one from 2002 theres alot of vibration .. i dont know how to explain this but when idrive nearing the 100-120km/h mark there seems to be alot of vibrating it feels my side mirrors are coming off maybe u know the problem ?

mine's older, 2001 laugh.gif well, check if your tyres are good, no bumps and are aligned/balanced properly, rim also not dented. from my experience (not kenari) this is usually the culprit. then if its not the tyres i'll go on to the bearing/dshafts and lastly check the mounting.

i'm using schmaco mounting for my birdie, 2nd set change last year. first set change at 2010

my birdie is 11 this year

well that depend you're keeping the car for another 10 years or how. if all in for rm500 and it's brand new, given condition all the bushes and labour is fine, it's consider acceptable for me because i know i'm going to keep the car.

maybe the seller himself don't even know how good is the parts. imho, trw or schmaco is consider big brand for aftermarket replacement, should be quite safe to use.

if you guys willing to fork out a bit more, i would recommend EA at Bukit Jalil, not the best but i think their workmanship is acceptable, or else, diy, i got my audio set done up and upgrade at home.

mine doing the same. but once reached 130-140kmh.. the side mirror will vibrate.. then the whole body as well.. on the steering just a minor vibrate.. but the rear body it will bouncing.. but i guess this is due to the oem spring n absobers is too soft.. next will be try comfort uncle spring for kenari.. and check all wheels bearing

Anyone know roughly how much does it cost to replace our steering rack and where can i get it? Currently mine is leaking and the temporary workaround is constantly monitoring the oil level and refill every now and then. Thanks

Hi guys. Just to check. Any of you fine people know where to find stock kenari rim plus tyre? Anyone here can sell cheap2 huhu.
