Added on December 19, 2008, 10:37 amaku haibar.. you just need to relax and be honest.. well shell wouldnt ask you any technical questions..just general knowledge question and some on your experience in uni life and so on. they want to assess you CAR.. to see whether you have got what it takes to be a SHELL people.. well what i did was be myself.. most of the information are true.. there is no scientist mind breaking question asked.. just simple question. let be frank.. ok.. dont add in too much goreng.. later hangus.. this people are like food critique... they know when you hangus a food.. so be honest with them. SHELL is an organization where they work on honestly.. so all the best

Yup honesty is the best policy. Except you don't need to tell the Shell ppl that you farted during the interview.

Kaiserwuff you passed your SRD didnt you... where did you do it... was it in miri or in KL, how long did they took to assessed your medical result and announce the date you need to report to work. well i got my offer already, just did my check up now waiting for date to report for work. would it take months, or weeks to confirm the date of reporting..

just received an invitation for the 1st interview. feeling nervous now....

Miri. The Piasau Camp House 100. Medical I sent by courier and upon reception its approved in a day. Then the excruciating wait for your work permit approval (if you send it together with your medical). My friend and I got ours in 3-4 weeks but they advise us a processing period of 4-6 weeks. After that, you can quit your day job.

So another word i start work after new year,,, hahahaha... i would be able to attend the new year party... hahaha.. anyway christmas is just around the corner.. well guys.. merry christmas... have lots of booze.. cheers

Wah really ah petronas paying that high... degree level... wah very generous lah... how about shell.. what is the difference for eng and buz grad student.. got difference meh?

If you get accepted in the Shell graduate program there should be no difference in base salary whether you're engineering or business degree, however your allowances may be different depending on where you are.

Last I checked many many months ago the base salary was RM2600, no idea about revisions. Shell does have 2 months contractual bonus and you typically get 1-3 months of performance bonus too.

Well for 2009 Shell will be giving more than Petronas..

@Kamal007: You will receive information on your salary the moment you pass your SRD so no worries. Focus on giving your best before talking about money.

I rather not hope for SRD anymore. Even though I passed the first interview, they havent called me in. So i gave them a call and surprisingly, they say that i am not in their database, as if i never passed the interview or even came to the interview. sigh.

But nvm, Ill just work elsewhere first. =)
