Just to update for those who are interested.
I'm a fresh graduate holding a BEng (Civil and Structural) from University of Melbourne. Applied for Shell in March but found out the recruitment process is super long. So as advised, I took up employment elsewhere (highly recommended) with AECOM in KL for the time being. Position that I was gunning for were discipline engineering, project engineering and well engineering.

Here's my SRD progress so far.
11/3/2015: Online Test Part 1 (Received), submitted on the same day.
12/3/2015: Online Test Part 2 (Received), submitted on the same day.

[3 Weeks Later]
02/04/2015: Telephone Interview
09/04/2015: TI result and information of advancement into SRD

[10 Weeks Later]
17-18/06/2015: SRD in Miri (6 Prospective Candidates)
20/06/2015: SRD Results via e-mail (Only 2 of us passed)

[15 Weeks Later]
16/09/2015: Found position, awaiting educational and medical checks.

Once you've completed the 1st competency test, you should receive a 2nd email stating the 2nd part of the online test. Within this email, a link to the second test will be provided and you have to complete it within a week of receiving it or else they will assume that you wish to withdraw your application. All the best!

Suprised they r even hiring now. Shell malaysia plans to layoff over 1000 employees over the next 2 years

They've reduced graduate positions for this year, but recruitment is still ongoing. Reason is to maintain a healthy future talent pipeline.

Anyone has same situation as me? I got an email saying that i have passed my phone interview and is invited to SRD however they ask me to wait them to scheldule me a date for SRD, then the next week I got another mail again saying they are still trying to scheldule a time for me, ask me to wait patiently ..and then...TODAY i just got a mail saying " Due to the change in requirement we are not able to proceed with your SRD, should the Business situation change we will reconsider your application. You do not need to re-apply or go through the application process again until we advise further. "

Anyone got the same situation as me ? I am so excited thought i would have a chance to experience this SRD..sigh..

if you are talking about Shell Cyberjaya, and for SAP (www.sap.com) only, for SAP support they are relocating to india. I am not sure how is the relationship with accenture, perhaps going to accenture india or probably not with accenture anymore.

usually for SAP project main vendor is accenture and accenture almost tutup kedai there ... only leave some small / tiny projects.

there is IBM but i am not sure which part. probably not SAP

what is your background?

Not surprising as the company has just concluded a major restructuring exercise. Seems like they are placing your application on hold until new vacancies are rolled through the pipeline. Fingers crossed.

I'm wondering if now is still a good time to apply for Graduate Employment Opportunities at Shell? Considering the current situation now.

I tried it last year and I couldn't even make through the online tests . I'm still waiting for a good time to reapply for the position . Should I wait till next year for my second attempt?

Shell Malaysia froze hiring till mid 2016. Don't hold breath waiting

i got a call from an unknown number ( +60 6281249926555) on new year's day 7.30am. I have a feeling it's from Shell recruitment. Yes, I was still sleeping and I missed the call.

Can anyone confirm the number whether is it from shell?

Bro, did they indicate to you when the next SRD will be? It's been quite a while since they updated me after telling i've passed through the telephone interview.

Relax man, just let them finish this round of man slaughter first, if they don't slaughter, you won't have any chance to get employed.
