NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Graphics Card Pictured in Full
QUOTE
Here it is, folks; the first pictures of NVIDIA's newest pixel crunching dreadnought, the GeForce GTX Titan. Pictures leaked by various sources east of the Greenwich Median reveal a reference board design that's similar in many ways to that of the GeForce GTX 690, thanks to the magnesium alloy cooler shroud, a clear acrylic window letting you peep into the aluminum fin stack, and a large lateral blower. The card features a glowy "GeForce GTX" logo much like the GTX 690, draws power from a combination of 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and features two SLI bridge fingers letting you pair four of them to run 3DMark Fire Strike as if it were a console port from last decade.
The GeForce GTX Titan PCB reveals that NVIDIA isn't using a full-coverage IHS on the GK110 ASIC, rather just a support brace. This allows enthusiasts to apply TIM directly on the chip's die. The GPU is wired to a total of twenty four 2 Gbit GDDR5 memory chips, twelve on each side of the PCB. The card's VRM appears to consist of a 6+2 phase design which uses tantalum capacitors, slimline chokes, and driver-MOSFETs. The PCB features a 4-pin PWM fan power output, and a 2-pin LED logo power output that's software controllable.
This is the GeForce Game Ready driver for the Crysis 3. It delivers a smoother gaming experience, improves single GPU performance by up to 5%, and boosts SLI performance by up to 65% (compared to GeForce 310.90 WHQL driver). New in GeForce 314.07 Drivers Increases performance by up to 5% in Crysis 3 (measured with GeForce GTX 680 at 1920x1080 high settings).
The new Geforce Titan is approximately 30% faster than GTX 680 according to some leaked benchmarks. Hopefully we would be able to see some official benchmarks soon. The supposedly $900 price tag is quite a large price to pay for such increment.
new nvidia driver suck, 1st i use video stress benchmark got 123fps in cs source with old ver driver. when i install latest driver my fps drop to 103fps.
i'm still using my old 8600gt to play dota, counter strike and pcsx2 emulator only.
guys, all d leadtek gc pcb blue color ka? im looking for black pcb gtx660ti...
Leadtek only 680 is black PCB, others all blue PCB. If you want black pcb for 660 Ti, you can go with Palit. Even their reference model is also black IINM.

i chk wt zhenwei@idealtech, even gtx680 4gb oso blue. i guess my only choice is palit then. so hw many years is palit warranty?

Oh really? Because i remembered that the 2GB version is black PCB. Palit is 2 years warranty. I would still go for Leadtek for the 3 years warranty, despite the blue PCB.

it's not surprising if this new gpu have a crazy price tag. it's based on the tesla supercomputer cards, which is really not cheap. now let's hope it will cause the price of GTX 680 to drop

huh....huh same price as a GTX 690 (but not the same performance).
obviously NVidia is targeting this card to a niche segment of the GPU market.
Comments from Tomshardware:
1.Pay the same $1,000 for a GeForce GTX 690 if you only want one dual-slot card and your case accommodates the long board. It remains the fastest graphics solution we’ve ever tested, so there's no real reason not to favor it over Titan.
2.The Titan isn’t worth $600 more than a Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition. Two of AMD’s cards are going to be faster and cost less. Of course, they’re also distractingly loud when you hit them with a demanding load. Make sure you have room for two dual-slot cards with one vacant space between them. Typically, I frown on such inelegance, but more speed for $200 less could be worth the trade-off in a roomy case.
3.Buy a GeForce GTX Titan when you want the fastest gaming experience possible from a mini-ITX machine like Falcon Northwest’s Tiki or iBuyPower’s Revolt. A 690 isn’t practical due to its length, power requirements, and axial-flow fan.
4.Buy a GeForce GTX Titan if you have a trio of 1920x1080/2560x1440/2560x1600 screens and fully intend to use two or three cards in SLI. In the most demanding titles, two GK110s scale much more linearly than four GK104s (dual GeForce GTX 690s). Three Titan cards are just Ludicrous Gibs!
